The period 2012 - 2016 has confirmed
the strong development of the Women’s Union of PPA in terms of organizational
structure, quantity of members and quality of movement activities.
Along with the excellent implementation of five key tasks, the Executive Board of the PPA Women's Union has been active, creative and implemented many projects, models and typical works, including the program “Supporting students in scientific research” for all students of the PPA. This is the typical work of the PPA women in the period 2012 - 2016 that achieved high efficiency in professional work and contributed to promoting the deep activities of the Women’s Union.
Beginning in 2011, the program “Supporting students in scientific research” has spread throughout the PPA. From the very beginning of the school year, getting acquainted with the environment of the armed forces, the new students of the PPA has been introduced, oriented the method and thought of scientific research by the Women’s Union, directly the Braches of Education Management, thereby improving skill for knowledge acquisition. The PPA Women’s Union has oriented, advised students on selecting topics suitably with the current situation, together with the students to solve difficulties in the research process. In addition, the PPA Women’s Union has always encouraged students to participate in research activities and supported students in contacting the local authorities to collect data.
The program “Supporting students in scientific research” has actively encouraged students to engross in scientific research; therefore, not only the quantity but also the quality of scientific research works of students has been gradually improved. Some of them have been applied in real life. Many research works of students have high scientific value and won high prizes of Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Education and Training. In details:
- In 2011, the PPA had 214 students participating in scientific research with 181 works and 79 ones won prizes, of which 9 won First Prizes, 22 won Second Prizes, 42 won Third Prizes at PPA level and 2 won Consolation Prizes of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- In 2012, the PPA had 251 students participating in scientific research with 191 works and 83 ones won prizes, of which 17 won First Prizes, 23 won Second Prizes, 63 won Third Prizes at PPA level and 3 won Consolation Prizes of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- In 2013, the PPA had 619 students participating in scientific research with 255 works and 143 ones won prizes, of which 20 won First Prizes, 54 won Second Prizes, 94 won Third Prizes at PPA level and 2 won Third Prizes, 1 won Consolation Prize of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- In 2014, the PPA had 653 students participating in scientific research with 266 works and 214 ones won prizes, of which 28 won First Prizes, 88 won Second Prizes, 112 won Third Prizes at PPA level and 1 won First Prize, 1 won Third Prize, 2 won Consolation Prizes of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- In 2015, the PPA had 709 students participating in scientific research with 312 works and 254 ones won prizes, of which 48 won First Prizes, 98 won Second Prizes, 132 won Third Prizes at PPA level. (In 2015, the Ministry of Education and Training did not mark the scientific research of student).
- By July 2016, 619 students have registered to participate in scientific research with 411 works.
These positive results confirmed the effectiveness and practicality of the program “Supporting students in scientific research” as well as the position and role of the PPA Women’s Union. The program has actually brought the positive results to the scientific research movement of students and strongly influenced the implementation of other works of the PPA Women’s Union.
In the coming time, based on the achieved results, the Women’s Union will continue to develop and implement effectively the programs for supporting students, contributing to the success of the task of building the PPA to become the key higher education institution of the nation.
