PPA donates bridge worth VND300 million in Ca Mau Cape

Dat Mui Commune is the southernmost land of Vietnam, with interlacing river, complicated canals, the local people mainly travel by waterways and face up to many difficulties. Having a bridge across the river is the dream of more than 100 households in Khe Long hamlet, Dat Mui commune.

 

With the hope to share difficulties with the local people here, PPA mobilized the donators to cooperated with the People's Committee of Dat Mui to build new bridge from October 2016, up to now having finished and put into use.

The joy of receiving gifts from the children

Khao Thi bridge is 36m long, 2.5m wide and has a tonnage of 2.5 tons, was built with a cost of VND300 million. The bridge was put into use, which facilitated the movement of people and goods. The children at Dat Mui commune are easier and safer to go to school; simultaneously, contributing to changing the rural appearance, creating conditions for economic development, construction of the homeland.

 

Also at the inauguration Ceremony of Khao Thi Bridge, PPA and donors presented 500 school bags, worth VND50 million and 2,500 notebooks, worth VND16 million to disadvantaged pupils at the two primary and junior high schools of Ka Long.
