Far from the center of Hanoi Capital about 70 km, Da Chong - K9 historical relic site located in 03 communes of Thuan My, Ba Trai, Minh Quang, Ba Vi district, Hanoi. Here, since 1957, Uncle Ho chose to build the central base. Since 1960 - 1969, he along with the comrades in the Politburo and the Party Central Committee had discussed and decided the key issue in the war against America. He received the friends from China and the Soviet Union to visit Vietnam at here. After he died, K9 was selected by the Politburo and the Central Military Commission as the place for long-term preservation, absolutely safe protection of Uncle’s corpses in the years of anti-American war (1969 -1975).

Students learned about the historical relic site where associated 

with life and career of revolutionary operation of President Ho Chi Minh

After the victory in the 1975 Spring, the country was reunified, was the time when the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum was prepared to inaugurate. On July 18^th, 1975, the Party and the people welcomed Uncle Ho to the final resting place in his eternal house at Ba Dinh. The K9 became the preventive base area and was where to welcome visitors in the whole country for fact-finding trip and traditional education.

At K9, the delegation reported at Cathedral of Uncle Ho, visiting the relic site, heard about the history, process of formation, construction and contributions of K9 Relic site to the revolutionary cause of the people. The delegation also held a discussion with Management Board of K9 Relic site on historical events associated with the life, the revolutionary cause of President Ho Chi Minh and the preservation and protection of Uncle’s corpses at K9 after he died.

Through the fact-finding trip in the Da Chong - K9 historical relic site, PPA student had more deep understanding of Vietnamese revolutionary history, life and career of President Ho Chi Minh; raised awareness of learning, practicing to promote the glorious revolutionary traditions and ethnic pride, from which enhance to training themselves, contribute to building Public Security forces “regular, elite, and gradually modernized.
