To officially
launch the E-learning management system and to honor the intellectual, creative
spirit of the lecturers within the PPA in designing E-learning lectures, on March
4th, 2015, the PPA held the launching ceremony on the E-learning
Management Systems and reviewed, awarded the contest "Designing E-Learning
lesson in 2014 - 2015."
Attending the
ceremony were Colonel Mai Duc Hai, Deputy Director of Education Department - MPS;
representatives of the Public Security training institutions in the Northern
region. As for the PPA, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President;
members in the Party Committee, Board of Directors, representatives of the
functional units and students of the Academy.
With the aim of
improving the quality of police training, to meet the needs of fighting against
crime in the new situation as well as contributing to innovating the methods of
teaching and learning towards the modernization target and meet the credit
system training requirements such as: rich learning materials, active and
positive learners, advantages in manage the learning process for teachers at
any time, any place..., President of the PPA Nguyen Xuan Yem signed the
Decision on the implementation of E-Learning training model in the Academy. To concretizing
the topic of the academic year 2014 - 2015, namely "standardization,
computerization" and gradually building the database to update E-learning
management system, the PPA held a contest “Designing E-Learning lesson in
2014-2015."

With that goal,
the E-learning project and the contest “Designing E-Learning lesson in
2014-2015" has received much attention and guidance of the Party
Committee, the Board of Directors together with the efforts, determination of
all officers, lecturers within the Academy.
During the
implementation phase, the project has shown many positive results: The access
to learning materials (such as subject syllabi, exercise and questions system,
textbooks, reference materials, video clip) helps students to actively build
the learning plan, save the printing costs, prepare the lessons, from that
gradually build the credit system learning method; the learning activities are
varied and abundant, creating the exciting learning environment in the
classroom, helping students to access to the modern learning methods, develop the
soft skills to adapt to the requirements of the society; through the system, lecturers
are easy to manage, monitor the learning progress of students through the homework
as well as inspect, assess and collect flexibly and efficiently the feedback from in large numbers of the students .
The contest
“Designing E-Learning lesson in 2014-2015” received 26 exams from author groups
with 59 lecturers who participated in designing. The exams were focused on the
innovation and application of information technology in the design, the content
of lesson ensured the requirement of learning program.
Speaking at the
ceremony, Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA
praised the efforts, the creative spirit of the lecturers in designing the
E-learning lesson. Besides, he also emphasized that E-learning could not
completely replace the traditional training method, so that in the process of implementation,
it was necessary to incorporate the both methods as well as need to clarify the
subjects and programs which were suitable for the E-learning, level of implementation,
the regulations of Public Security forces to design efficiently and practically
the E-learning lesson at the PPA in the coming time.
