General To Lam, Politburo Member and Minister of Public Security, on March 28 sent a letter of congratulations to the students of the People’s Police Academy who participated in and won the first prize at the “SV 2020” TV show, a popular contest for university and college students held by Vietnam Television.
In his letter, Minister To Lam hails that the achievement of the PPA’s team at the “SV 2020” demonstrated the bravery, intelligence, and creativity of the public security youth in general and the students of the public security schools in particular.
The minister states that their achievement becomes more meaningful when the public security youth is celebrating the 90th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the 65th traditional day of the Youth Union Chapter of the Ministry of Public Security.
Minister To Lam also praised the PPA’s students for their outstanding achievements in recent contests, including first prize at International Undergraduate Conference 2019 on Policing held by the National Police Academy, RoK; second prize at Orator Contest held by the Central Commission on Information and Education; second prize at the second English Olympiad held by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; special prize at the “Reading Ambassador” contest held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
He also asked the teachers, officers and students of the PPA to participate in more scientific research activities and domestic and international contests for students, contributing to promoting the image of the Vietnamese students in general and the Public Security youth in particular.
