On 20th December, the Faculty
of Anti-drug Crime Police of the PPA in coordination with the Anti-drug Crime Forces
of some units and provinces held the Ceremony on receiving keepsakes of the Anti-drug
Crime Forces and exhibits of drug cases for the Museum of the PPA.
Attending the Ceremony were Mr. Mai Xuan
Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Anti-Smuggling and Investigation,
General Department of Customs; representatives of the Border Guard Academy;
representatives of the High Command of Coast Guard; representatives of Public
Security Departments of Ha Noi Capital, Quang Ninh, Phu
Tho, Hoa Binh, Bac Ninh; representatives of the anti-drug crime police squads
of districts of Long Bien, Hai Ba Trung and Tu Liem. As for the PPA were Senior
Colonel, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thien Phu, Vice President of the Academy;
leaders of some Departments within the Academy; lecturers and students of the
Faculty of Anti-drug Crime Police.

At the Ceremony, the representatives
introduced the meanings of exhibits of the drug cases, the keepsakes of the Anti-drug
Crime Forces and gave them for the Museum of the PPA, namely: uniforms of the
Coast Guard Force, some types of guns, drug-using pots, samples of synthetic
drugs, etc. ; especially the police uniform of Major General Vu Hung Vuong, Hero
of People's Armed Forces, former Deputy Director General of General Department of
Crime Prevention and Suppression, the first Director of Anti-drug Police Department; the bulletproof armor
that martyr Bui Quoc Dai had used and sacrificed during pursuing drug criminal
in Hoa Binh Province.

These objects will be stored, preserved
at the Museum of the PPA to serve the work of traditional education of the
Academy; encourage the career love of lecturers and students of the PPA; also
tighten the relations between the PPA and the Anti-drug Crime Forces, the
Border Guard, the Customs, the Coast Guard in the work of drug crime prevention
and suppression.
Speaking at the Ceremony, Senior Colonel,
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thien Phu, Vice President of the PPA emphasized the profound
practical and humanity meaning of the a/m objects. He expected to continue to
receive the support of units in the process of collecting keepsakes for the Museum
of the PPA to effectively serve the education and training of the Academy.
