Lieutenant General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, Secretary of Party Committee, President of the PPA attended and directed the conference. The other members of the Party Committee and the Directorate Board of the PPA and all officers, lecturers were also attended the event.

At the meeting, Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Vice President of the PPA presented the preliminary report on the Party’s work in the first term of school year of 2013 - 2014, through which he summarized and assessed comprehensively all sides of the Party’s work, pointed out shortcomings, limitations and its causes and proposed the solutions to implement in the second semester of the school year.

Next, the representatives presented the discussion speeches relating to the work of ideology, organization, personnel, Party building of the Departments within the Academy, in which many ideas are useful, practical, contributes to improve the quality of the activities of the Party Basical Institutions within the PPA’s Party Committee, towards the target of building the PPA’s Party Committee increasingly transparent, strong, stable, disciplined, responsible and effective.

On this occasion, the PPA presented the 30-year Party membership insignia for party member Phung Van Hao, who is working at the Center for Traffic Safety Research; and announced the Decisions of establishing the Basical Party Institutions of the Department of International Cooperation and the Department of Mathematics – Informatics and renaming the  Basical Party Institutions of the Research Center of Criminology and Crime Prevention and the Department of Administration Management into the  Basical Party Institutions of the Research Center of Criminology and Crime Investigation and the PPA Office.

At the same time, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA announced the contents, conclusions and results of the 69^th National Public Security Conference for all of the PPA’s officers, teachers, and employees and directed the basic contents of implementing results of the 69^th National Public Security Conference at the PPA in the coming time.
