Attending were Major General Nguyen Phong Hoa, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Police for Crime Prevention and Suppression; Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Ninh, Deputy General Director of the General Department of Police for Administrative Management of Social Order and Safety; Major General Pham Quoc Cuong, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Police for Sentence Execution and Legal Assistance and Major General Nguyen Duy Hai, Deputy Commander of High Command of Mobile Police; leaders, officers of the General Departments and the High Commands. As for the PPA were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the Academy; the Board of Director and leaders of faculties, departments, divisions.

To enhance the cooperation and mutual support between units in the Public Security Force, help the units to develop stably and fulfill political tasks, on May 23^rd, 2012, the PPA signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the General Departments. After one year of implementing the MoU, the PPA and the a/m units held the preliminary Conference in order to analyze and evaluate the advantages, limitations; unify contents, tasks to perform effective contents in the Memorandum.

At the Conference, Senior Colonel, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Minh Chat, Vice President of the PPA reported on the result of implementation of cooperation activities such as: scientific research, professional and law training, results of combination on ensuring social order and security, etc. Although existing some of the certain difficulties and limitations; basically, the MoU got great efficiency and positive results. The units coordinated closely, supported actively for each other to fulfill the assigned missions.

The PPA coordinated closely with the concerned Departments of Public Security and the High Command of Mobile Police to enhance the efficiency and quality of education, training for officials, soldiers who were sent to study at the PPA. The Academy in collaboration with the units held regularly the programs on further training, dissemination of law and professional knowledge; researched scientific subjects; implemented researched results on crime prevention and suppression and other law violations.

The Departments of Public Security, the High Command of Mobile Police created favorable conditions for officials and students of the PPA in practical activities; collecting data for scientific research; offering suggestions on compiling materials, references; choosing officials for the work of teaching and reporting the actual report at classes of the Academy.

On this occasion, leaders the General Departments awarded 11 laptops for the PPA’s students for their excellent results in learning and practicing. Also at the Conference, the PPA announced Decision and launched the Support Fund for young talents of the Academy to encourage and support learning movement in the Academy. At the Launching Ceremony, the Fund received a lot of interest and contribution of the twinned units, collaboration partners and numerous functional units, officials and lecturers of the Academy.
