Attending the ceremony were leaders of the General Departments, Departments of the Ministry of Public Security; representatives of public security training,Institution,Representatives of agencies and organizations in the country and abroad that have cooperation with the Academy. On the side of the People's Police Academy were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, Party Committee Secretary,President of the Academy; the member of  the Party commitee, the Directorate leader of the Academy; Representatives and family members of former leaders of the Academy over periods; officers, lecturers and all staff, employees and student who are working, researching and studying at the Academy.

Along with the growth and develoment of the People's Police Force  academic year 2014 - 2015 is an academic year with great significance, marking the development of the People's Police Academy after 47 years of building and growth; The academic year in which the Academy successfully held Congress of the People's Police Academy Party XVI term 2015 - 2020 and was recognized by the Ministry of Public Security as a key education institution. To clearly define objectives and requirements of the school year, under the comprehensive leadership,of the Central Party Committee, the leadership of Ministry of Public Security, Party committees and leaders of the General Political Department of the People's Police, staff, lecturers, employees and students of the Academy unite and overcome difficulties and strive to accomplish excellently, comprehensively their mission of the academic year to make firmly changes, to make the Academy develop day by day.

In the last academic year, the Academy continued to strengthen the political and ideological education of officers and lecturers. Through the activities to commemorate 70 years of August revolution, National Day 2/9 and especially celebrating 70 years of tradition of People’s Public Security Force, contributing to propagate the tradition, enhance the sense of responsibility and promote democracy, solidarity, creating an exciting atmosphere, promoting the successful implementation of the political missions of the Academy.

The education and training in the academic year 2014 - 2015 has achieved results with significant importance. Academy has transformed entire university curriculum to training under the credit system and complete university training program to shorten the time from 5 years to 4 years. This is also the year that the Academy officially put into use the online training system E-learning, based on information and communications technology, make learning activities flexible, highly interactive, providing additional support for credit training methods, contribute to improving the teaching quality of the Academy. The training of the staff and lecturers of the Academy continue to be strengthened. Up to now, the Academy has 07 professors, 33 associate professors, 133 doctors, 157 senior lecturers, 08 senior trainers and over 300 masters. The number of lecturers with certificates of Professor, Associate Professor, Doctor of the People's Police Academy curently stands firstly among the public security training institutions.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security,Senior Lieutenant General Dang Van Hieu appreciated the dynamism, initiative and creativity in the implementations of the People's Police Academy and warmly praised the excellent achievements that generations of staff, officers and students of the Academy have achieved in recent time. He emphasized that the academic year 2015 - 2016 was a year of great significance when the People's Police Academy was recognized by the Ministry of Public Security as a key education Institution of the sector and accelerated the construction schedule to become the key basis of higher education of the country. To successfully implement the objectives and tasks of the new academic year, he requested the People's Police Academy should take measures to implement the development schedule creatively, innovatively and initiatively, self-improve to organize the process of education, training, quality and efficiency; To actively prepare the conditions for ensuring to become national key university of the country in 2018;Consentrating in up training and retraining, build lecturers, education managers with sufficient quantity, quality assurance.This is the most important factor to enhance the quality of training and education of the Academy; Strengthening scientific research, closely link between theory and practice, to serve the teaching and learning activities in new situation; To develop the Academy comprehensively strong, regular, exemplary; Strengthening partnerships with educational institutions in and outside the sector, with local Police units; interested in expanding international relations in training, worthy of its position as the leading unit in international cooperation on training among police Training Institutions

The Deputy Minister believes that with its position as the key basis of higher education of Public Security, with consensus, the determination and the efforts of the Party Committee, Board of Directors and all officers, lecturers, employees, People's Police Academy will excellently accomplish their objectives and tasks of the academic year 2015 - 2016, contributing to building the Academy soon to become the key basis of higher education of the country in 2018 on the occasion of 50th anniversary of establishment of the Academy.

The President of the PPA thanked the guidance of Deputy Minister and stressed, these are directives, tasks and objectives that the Academy should focus on implementing and complete in the near future. On behalf of the Academy, the President of the Academy expressed the determination, with the principle of action "Initiative, discipline, Responsibility, Efficiency, Tradition, Innovation, Dynamic Development" continue comprehensively  to reform the education, training and scientific research,and strive to make the People's Police Academy to become a Center of training and scientific research with high quality,that qualified to be a national key university.As soon as possible the Academy hoped to be paid interested and guided by the Central Public Security, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Education and Training for development of a modern police Training Center in the region and in the world.
