Attending the Seminar were Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Ngoc Ha – Vice President of the PPA and leaders of functional units of the Academy. Attending the seminar there were also the presence of leaders of Training Department - Ministry of Public Security with many education managers, lecturers of police training institutions.

Credit- based training system is an advanced training mode that has been deployed and applied in many countries all over the world, such as: United States of America, United Kingdom of Great Britain, France, Germany, Thailand, Philippines and so on. It has obtained many achievements. With this guideline and innovation tendency in education and training, on 4^th December, 2009, the Ministry of Public Security promulgated the plan No. 149/KH-BCA-X11 on the pilot training under the credit system in higher education at the People’s Security Academy (PSA) and the People's Police Academy (PPA). Through 05 years of training, the mode of training under credit system has been being applied in the PPA since the course 2009-2010 and until now, students of course D36 graduated. The first results achieved by the training under credit system were fairly positive, notably the work of establishing the training program, compiling documents, textbooks, arranging the training management under credit system.

 using E-learning system in training under credit system at the PPA”

At the Seminar, the officers of the Training Department of the PPA exchanged and shared the experience on 4 main contents related to training under credit system:

- Experience in using computer software in training management concerning the curriculum, plans, schedules, results in training under credit system at the PPA.

- Experience in deploying, using E-learning system in training under credit system at the PPA.

- Experience in applying the software of managing documents in association with training management between the Training Department of the PPA and other units within the Academy.

- Student Management in training under credit system at the PPA.

Speaking at the Seminar, Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Ngoc Ha - Vice President of PPA highly appreciated the initial achievements in training under credit system, in particular the work of establishing the training program, compiling documents, textbooks, arranging the training management under credit system. He expected that through this seminar, the participants would get the valuable practical experience to research and apply into the practical work in order to successfully carry out the task of training plan under credit system in the police training institutions from the school year 2016- 2017.
