On the occasion of lunar new year 2015 and according to the plan of
Youth Month, on March 5th, the PPA’s Youth Union combining with Center
for Scientific Information and Academic Materials organized the cultural
activities and launched the reading festival to celebrate 70th traditional
day of Vietnamese Public Security force.

Truong Tan Sang visited the PPA on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2015.

Under the agreement of the leaders of
the PPA and the Department of External Affairs - MPS, on February 4th,
2015, the Youth Union of the two units co-organized the cultural exchange
program on introducing the 10 typical traditional songs on Public Security
force.

On February 2nd, 2015, at
the Temple of Literature
in Hanoi, the
National Council of Professor Title held the ceremony to present certificates
to the newly entitled professors and associate professors. The PPA was also
honored one Professor and 4 Associate Professors this year.

With the consent of the head of the
Ministry of Public Security and the unity of the two units, on February 04th,
2015, the PPA and the External Affairs Department - Ministry of Public Security
held the Ceremony of signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the
two units. Senior Lieutenant General Dang Van Hieu, member of the Party Central
Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and presided
at the Ceremony.

With the instruction of the leadership
of the Ministry of Public Security and the Political General Department of the
Public Security Force, on January 23rd, 2015, the PPA solemnly held the
Opening Ceremony for 1st course of criminal justice specialty. Lieutenant
General Tran Ba Thieu, Director General of the Political General Department of
the Public Security Force attended and presided at the Ceremony.

In the exciting atmosphere of the early
days of 2015 and welcoming Lunar New Year, on February 3rd, 2015,
the Party Committee of the PPA solemnly held the Meeting to celebrate 85th
founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (Feb 3rd,
1930 - Feb 3rd, 2015).

Within the framework of co-operation
between the PPA of Vietnam and the Royal Cadet Police Academy of Thailand (RCPA),
January 16th-20th, 2015, the delegation of Center for
Scientific Information and Academic Materials of the PPA led by Senior
Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Van Lien, Vice Director of the Center visited and
worked with the RCPA.

On
December 17th, The Staff Office of Public Security Department of
Nghe An Province in cooperation with the Communist Youth Union (CYU) of Vinh
City celebrated the Ceremony of propagating and preventing the firecrackers in
the Le Viet Thuat high school, Vinh City with the participation of 82 students
of Course D37 within the PPA who were on probation at Nghe An Province..

In the evening of November 25th,
2014, the students of Course D40 and the civil learning-form within the PPA had
an exchanging talk with Doctor of Literature Doan Huong, the lecturer of Journalism
Department of the University of Social Science and Humanities about the theme
of behaviour culture.

On January 12th, 2014, the
PPA in collaboration with the International Cooperation Agency of Korea (KOICA)
in Vietnam
held the kick-off ceremony of the project "Establishment of E-Library at
the PPA" which is granted by the KOICA.

On January 8th, 2015, the PPA
formally held the Conference on implementing Project for Development of Police
Professional Library until 2020 and 1st time receiving materials under the chairmanship
of Lieutenant General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA, Head of
the Steering Committee of Project.

On January 5th, 2015, the PPA
held the Conference to grasp thoroughly the Resolution of 70th National Public
Security Conference for all officers, lecturers and employees of the Academy under
the chairmanship of Lieutenant General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, Secretary of
Party Committee, President of the Academy.

In the evening of December 18th,
2014, the PPA held Evening Gala celebrating 70th anniversary of Vietnam
People's Army and welcoming New Year 2015 with the special and attractive
performance.

On December 4th, 2014, the
PPA held the professional training course on student management and education for
the class-head teachers and the class-monitors under the chairmanship of
Colonel, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Minh Chat, Vice President of the PPA.
