New academic and theoretical contributions of the PhD thesis:

1. This is the first research which studies systematically and comprehensively on activities in crime prevention in tourism areas carried out by Administrative Management Police Force on social order. It contributes to supplementing, completing and enriching the theory on crime prevention and activities of Administrative Management Police Force on social order in crime prevention.

2. Basing on the scientific arguments, the thesis has built up the theoretical system activities of Administrative Management Police Force on social order in crime prevention in tourism areas, such as concepts, characteristics, contents, methods, decentralization and cooperative relationship of Administrative Management Police Force on social order in crime prevention in tourism areas

3. The thesis surveys, synthesizes, analyzes to clarify criminological characteristics of crimes in tourism areas and real situation of activities in crime prevention in tourism areas of Administrative Management Police Force on social order from 2008 to late 2014. The thesis also reviews and evaluates results, shortcomings and limitations as well as their causes of activities in crime prevention in tourism areas of Administrative Management Police Force on social order.

4. Thank to synthesizing, analyzing the theoretical, practical issues, the thesis makes the predictions about the crime situation in tourism areas and factors that affect activities related to crime prevention of Administrative Management Police Force on social order. On this basis, the thesis also introduces feasible solutions to improve the efficiency of activities carried out by Administrative Management Police Force on social order in crime prevention in tourism areas to maintain public order and security, contribute to implementing our Party and Government’s guidelines, policies on economic and tourism development.

5. The results of the thesis research can be used for researching, teaching in the academies, universities and colleges which are under the control of the Ministry of Public Security as well as can be used to refer and apply to practical crime prevention in tourism areas by Administrative Management Police Force on social order.
