New contributions of the thesis:

1. The thesis has selected, analyzed and generalized the scientific works of some countries in the world and in Vietnam related to the management of car drivers according to the functions of the Traffic Police Force. Thereby, the thesis has identified the problems that need to be further researched and solved in it.

2. The thesis has contributed to building and supplementing the theory on management of car drivers according to the functions of the Traffic Police Force such as: Concept, characteristics of car drivers; concept, characteristics, role, legal basis, content, requirements, measures and coordination between the forces in managing car drivers according to the functions of Traffic Police Force.

3. The thesis has surveyed and analyzed the current situation of the management of car drivers according to the functions of the Traffic Police. Since then, the thesis has given comments and evaluations on the achieved results, limitations and their causes as well in the management of car drivers according to the functions of the Traffic Police Force.

4. The thesis has forecasted the relevant situations, the advantages and disadvantages in the management of car drivers in Vietnam in the coming time. Thereby, it has proposed some solutions to improve the efficiency of managing vehicle drivers according to the functions of the Traffic Police Force in the future.
