New contributions of the thesis:

1. The thesis has systematically studied the theory about prevention and fight against organized crime according to function of the Criminal Police. It has clarified the concept of organized crime, criminal organization, prevention and fight against organized crime according to the function of the Criminal Police. The thesis also has identified the characteristics, legal grounds, contents, measures and coordination and international cooperation in prevention and fight against organized crime according to the function of criminal police force.

2. The thesis has identified and analyzed the reality and causes of organized crime in Vietnam, and reality of prevention and fight against organized crime according to criminal police force from 2010 to June 2018. The thesis also made comments on advantages, disadvantages and causes of disadvantages in prevention and fight against organized crime according to the function of the Criminal Police.

3. The thesis has predicted factors which influence the prevention and fight against organized crime and proposed some solutions to improve the effectiveness of prevention and fight against organized crime according to the function of Criminal police force in the coming time
