The Ceremony was honored to have the participation of H.E Senior Lieutenant General, Tran Viet Tan, Deputy Minister of Public Security; leaders of departments, training institutions of the M.P.S. As for the PPA was Lieutenant General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the Academy, members of the Directorate and leaders of the functional departments.

At the Ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Viet Tan, presented the Doctor Degree Certificate to 31 research students from units within the M.P.S in the whole country, in which the PPA was honored to have 18 new doctors.

Until now, the PPA have been trained more than 200 Doctors of Law, especially, the PPA is one of the two education institutions implemented strictly, successfully and issued the Certificate for over 110 doctors under the new regulations on doctor training of Ministry of Education and Training, which contributed to supply high-quality human resource as well as scientific officers for the research and training institutions and departments within the Public Security Force.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Viet Tan congratulated the new Doctors in 2014 and asked them to uphold the spirit of responsibility, devote their talent to the Cause of protecting the national security and social safety and order; actively research scientific issues to supplement and develop the system of arguments of the Public Security Force; participate in training activities to develop human resources for the Public Security Force and contributing to building the Force becoming “revolutionary, regular, elite and gradually modern.”

As for the PPA, the Minister also highly appreciated the PPA’s contribution in term of post-graduation training over the previous years. He asked the PPA to continue to uphold the Academy’s vanguard role in the Cause of post-graduation training, enhancing training qualification, changing new teaching method, updating new knowledge, strengthening practice skills, developing ability of self-studying, self-research and creativeness for students, striving for becoming the key training institutions of the Public Security Force in 2015 and later becoming key universities of the State.

On this occasion, the PPA launched the donation program to support the sea police officers and fishery-control-forces who are working hard to protect the sea territory of the country.
