Attending the cultural exchange were Major General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA; Senior Colonel Vu Tien Inh, Deputy Director of Training Department; Captain Vu Van Doan, Secretary of Youth Union of General Department of Building-up Force;  and representatives of the Academy and High Command of Border Guard.

Opening the cultural exchange “From Dien Bien Phu to Homeland Island”, Major General , Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA summarized the typical activities of the PPA towards the important historical events of nation in May and affirmed the solidarity between the People’s Police Academy and High Command of Border Guard. He emphasized: “The cultural exchange is an important occasion for us to review the glorious tradition and the national proud; it is the opportunity for the officials, students of the PPA and the soldiers of High Command of Border Guard to express their profound gratitude to the great merits of previous generations and the expression of determination, unity, striving and development of the two Agencies”.

During the night of cultural exchange “From Dien Bien Phu to Homeland Island”, besides the impressive performances and the songs that related to the history of the nation were performed by the students of Academy, there was the presence of the famous artists from the ensemble of the High Command of Border Guard such as Meritorious Artist Trong Hiep, Meritorious Artist Vy Hoa, Ngoc Dung, etc. The show reminded the glorious history of the nation especially the Dien Bien Phu victory, the songs about the sea, Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelago.
