Students participated actively in medical examinations to prepare for the blood donation

With the motto “From me to you - A gift of life”, blood donation was the very meaningful activity which was held annually by the PPA to educate the students about the spirit of solidarity of our nation.

 

Despite raining caused blood donation in trouble, from the early morning, the Multipurpose Gymnasium of the Academy was very busy with the presence of a large number of students to register the medical examinations to prepare to donate blood. The blood donation program left the deep feelings to the officials, lecturers of the PPA, especially the first year students.

Sharing feelings at the first time of donating blood, Nguyen Quoc Cuong (B14-D39) said: “Because of the first time participating in blood donation, I feel quite nervous, a little bit worried about whether blood donation affects my health or not. However, I believe that my blood can help many patients overcome the dangerous situation. Thus, my worry disappears off…”.

 

With the same mood, Phan Hoang Giang also expressed: “The feeling of the first time of blood donation is quite nervous, but after donating blood, I felt very happy because of my meaningful action. I will certainly continue to participate in the next event”.

Every year, the PPA usually participates actively in blood donation that provided a large amount of blood units, contributed to save thousands of patients. In addition, the Academy also involved in a lot of voluntary blood donation programs such as: Pink Spring Festival, Red Sun, Red Journey, Volunteer Heart Festival, etc. It is confirmed that the blood donation is one of the activities that the leaders of the Academy pay close attention to. These activities helped officials, lecturers and students of the PPA know the way to share difficulty with comrades and patients who have been being suffered from serious diseases.
