The Seminar was attended by representatives of the Hanoi People's Court, People's Court of Northern Tu Liem district, Ha Noi Metropolitan Public Security Department, Public Security force of Northern Tu Liem district, Judicial Academy, Hanoi Lawyers Federation and the company, law offices in Hanoi. As for the PPA were Major General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Ngoc Ha, Vice President of the Academy; representatives of the units and the leaders, lecturers of Laws Faculty.

The Seminar was aimed to exchange and find out the abilities and conditions of the two sides to build the specific cooperation contents in training the specialties of the Criminal Procedure Law and Criminal Justice; unify the contents, mechanism and assignment between the Laws Faculty of the PPA and the judicial agencies of Northern Tu Liem district; create the understanding and sharing between the lecturers of the PPA and officers of the judicial agencies of North Tu Liem district.

At the Seminar, the participants affirmed that the training of Criminal Procedure Law and Criminal Justice was the urgent requirement and the cooperation between the training institutions with the judicial agencies would contribute to improve the effectiveness of training, meet the requirements of judicial reform and the demand of high-quality human resources nowadays.

For the cooperation contents between the PPA and the judicial agencies of North Tu Liem district, the participants emphasized the advantages of the PPA in training the Criminal Procedure Law and Justice Criminal, especially the good lecturers and modern facilities. In the coming time, the Academy should research and build more specific curriculum; complete the system of lesson plans and textbooks; build the sample courtroom at the PPA for the local justice agencies to use as well as to create the favorable conditions for the students to contact with the reality and watch directly the judicial proceedings of particular cases. Besides, the judicial agencies were willing to cooperate with the Academy in training the Criminal Procedure Law and Criminal Justice on some contents such as providing documents and data for scientific research; appoint the officers to teach and give the actual report at the PPA; hold the trials at the Academy; allow the lecturers of the PPA to participate in drawing the experience after the typical cases to enhance the practical experience and contribute to enhance the quality of training.
