Attending the Conference were Prof.Dr.Sc. Nguyen Dinh Duc, Director of Academic Affairs of Vietnam National University (VNU), Hanoi; representatives of Departments of the M.P.S, the police training Institutes, Hanoi Public Security Department and functional units of the PPA.

To meet the requirements of preventing crime, ensuring national security and preserving social safety and order, the PPA has renovated the curriculum, management model and improved the quality of teaching and learning with the goal of striving to become the significant training Institution of the Ministry of Public Security in 2015 and of the State in 2020. Especially, since the school year 2002-2003, the Academy has started to train bachelor of law by high quality model through detecting and fostering the students who are excellent and have a good sense of discipline. This is the remarkable step in order to improve the quality of education and training of the Academy and gradually qualify with other police training institutions in the region and around the world.

The aims of the Conference were to assess comprehensively the results, limitations and its causes in 12 years of training by high quality model, create the basis for the PPA to give the directions to improve the quality of this training model in the future.

At the Conference, Major General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA delivered the summarized report of 12 years of high quality training model. On that basis, the participants discussed some contents that related to the achievements and development orientation of high quality training model at the Academy as well as the learning experience of students of high quality training model.

In particular, the presentation of Prof.Dr.Sc. Nguyen Dinh Duc, Director of VNU Academic Affairs on 20 years of experience in high quality training by international standards of Vietnam National University, Hanoi attracted the attention of all representatives. According to Prof.Dr.Sc. Nguyen Dinh Duc, the PPA has gone in the right direction in implementing the high quality training model. In the coming time, the Academy should focus on building the system of criteria for teachers and students of high quality class; strengthen the inspection and result assessment; pay attention to internationalization issues to improve the efficiency of the high quality training model.

At the end of the Conference, 6 units that got a lot of achievements in 12 years of training by high quality model have been awarded the Certificate of Merit of the PPA.
