Welcoming and working with the delegation was Prof. Dr. Le Vinh Danh, Headmaster of the Ton Duc Thang University; Major General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Trinh Van Thanh, Headmaster of the People's Police University; Major General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ha Viet Dung, Headmaster of the People’s Security University; PhD. Nguyen Kim Quang, Deputy Headmaster of the University of Natural Sciences, VNU-HCM as well as leaders and teachers of the functional departments within these universities.

In the framework of the working program at the Universities in the Southern part of Vietnam, the delegation visited their material facilities such as school campuses, libraries, dormitories, canteens, playing-sports area… as well as studied about the experiences in training organization and scientific research, the ways of mobilizing funds for building infrastructure and ensuring livelihood, enhancing the high-qualified lecturers, student management and environmental hygiene…

The School-Board and leaders of the functional units within the Universities shared their experiences as well as difficulties in organizing, managing and implementing aspects of work for researching and exchanging. Lieutenant General, Prof.Dr Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA also pointed out some programs such as scientific research, lecturer exchange, teaching-materials compilation, scientific conferences organization in the North and the South in order that the both sides together study and implement cooperation in the future.

Also, during the working-schedule, the PPA delegation paid a courtesy with Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Thanh Binh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the VNU-HCM. At the meeting, Lt.Gen, Prof.Dr Nguyen Xuan Yem and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Thanh Binh discussed together the training situation, the achieved results and the strong points for cooperation implementation in the coming time, especially in education and training, scientific research, technology transfer and assigned to the Office of VNU-HCM and the Office of PPA as the two connection units.

Closing the meeting, Lt.Gen Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA expressed his deep thank for receiving respectfully of Assoc.Prof.Dr Phan Thanh Binh and all officers and teachers of the VNU-HCM and sent his wish to all teachers continue making effort to build their university becoming the top prestigious training institution in the region in the period of integration.
