The program outcomes standard is the new concept but it is very essential in the current educational reform. The outcomes standard of a training institution means that the students have to meet the full of necessary capacities to serve society after graduating. It is not only the striving target of a training institution but also of all education branches, including the PPA.

In 2009, leaders of the PPA issued the project on implementing the program outcome standard with 8 standards, including: professional skill, politics, foreign language, computer skills, shooting, martial arts, driving and advisory skill. This project has been identified as a criterion for controlling the training quality; on the basis of these standards to define these unachievable matters, from that timely advice and propose suitable adjustments, contributing to enhancing the training quality of the Academy as well as improving the quality of officers of the people’s police force. 

Outcome standard on professional skills: Results of subjects have to satisfy the Ministry of Education and Training’s require, in which the two-thirds of professional subjects achieve 6.5 point for the yearly training system, from 7.0 for the credit training system.

Outcome standard on politics: All students have a political spirit, pure moral; implement strictly the regulation of people's police force as well as the law of Vietnam. The graduated students have to be Communist party members or candidate for the Communist Party of Vietnam

Outcome standard on foreign language:

- English: TOEIC certificate reaches 400 points or equivalent. As for the 2011-2012 course of entrance exam reaches 450 points and the 2013-2014 course of entrance exam reaches 500 points.

- French: DELF certificate reaches B1

- Chinese: HSK Certificate reaches fourth level

- Russian: reaching TRKI -1 certificate

Outcome standard on computer: Reaching the B level certificate for Office Computing and Internet management

Outcome standard on Shooting: One of the important subjects within the program outcome standard of the PPA. With this subject, to meet the required standards, each student has to shoot 10 bullets by shotguns at the fixed target and the moving target and achieve 70 per 100 points for each of targets. To achieve such requirements require all students to constantly strive for studying and practicing, which help the students to improve the physique as well as the qualification.

Outcome standard on martial art: Reaching the People Police martial art certificate which is equal to the professional standard of sub-teacher of martial art.

Outcome standard on driving: Being licensed the automobile driving certificate of B2 class and the motorcycle driving certificate of B2 class. Students of the Traffic Police Faculty have to reach the automobile driving certificate of C class and the motorcycle driving certificate of A2 and A3 class.

With the above outcome standards, the project created the motive power for PPA students in studying and training, contributing to removing incorrect learning motivation. After 5 years of implementing the project, the PPA has achieved the worth-proud results, deserving as one of the leading education institution in training high-quality human resource for the People's Police force.
