Speaking at the Seminar, Senior Colonel, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nhat, Vice President of the PPA summarized the situation of traffic order and safety for the first six months in the whole country. He emphasized that to ensure traffic order and safety in the coming time, in accompanying with the immediate and long term solutions which has been deployed, it was necessary to enhance the application of science and technology to detect and handle the violations of road traffic order and safety.

Colonel Hoang Minh Khac, Deputy Head of the General Advisory Department - the Public Security Department of Phu Tho Province exchanged currently the situation of road traffic that have being used by one monitoring camera system since 2009 (belong to the B609 project of the Ministry of Public Security), contributed to support effectively for ensuring traffic order and safety in the provincial area. However, the system had some disadvantages such as: the low-resolution camera, unobserving at the darkness, uncovering the whole scene, the limitation of image storage capacity, the irregular operation and maintenance, the unstable fiber optic cable. Therefore, it was necessary to invest and upgrade this monitoring camera system so as to serve effectively for detecting and handling timely the traffic violations by images in the area of Phu Tho Province.

At the seminar, Mr. Tran Trong Vinh, the Chairman of Vietnam Asian Professional Security Association (APSA Vietnam), General Director of Bien Bac Joint Stock Company had introduced the new software STM01 using for detection and treatment of traffic violations with a range of preeminent features. Currently, this technology had been tested successfully in Vietnam and put into use effectively in many areas such as Tam Ky District (Quang Nam Province), Rach Gia District (Kien Giang Province), Bien Hoa City (Dong Nai Province)...

Ending the seminar, Colonel Do Van Hoanh, Director of the Public Security Department of Phu Tho Province emphasized that the monitoring camera systems to detect and handle the traffic violations in Phu Tho Province, which was introduced by the PPA and the Bien Bac Company, had high-practicability with many outstanding features to apply to monitoring, detecting and handling the traffic violations by image in the provincial area. After he concluded the necessity of installing the above monitoring camera systems. He asked the related functional units to take advantage of the current camera infrastructure to improve, upgrade for serve effectively as well as research more places for installing the new systems, which contributed to ensuring the traffic order and safety in Viet Tri City as well as in Viet Tri - Hung Temple route. He also assigned responsibility for the General Advisory Department to research, advice and recommend to the People’s Committee and the Traffic Safety Committee of Phu Tho Province about the project on upgrading and installing new monitoring camera systems in Phu Tho Province in the coming time.
