Attending the ceremony were Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Ngoc Can, Deputy Director General of Political General Department; Major General, Prof. Dr. Bui Minh Giam, Deputy Director General of Political General Department; representatives of functional units under the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Defense, People's Supreme Court; representatives of leaders of the Police training institutions and local police departments.

As for the PPA were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA; members oof the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Academy; the functional units of the Academy and the new Doctors, Masters and postgraduate students of the 26th master course of the PPA.

Representative of the Political General Department and leaders of the PPA presented Degrees to the new Doctors and Masters

Since 1992, the PPA had been the first training institution of the Public Security which was assigned the task of training postgraduate programs by Ministry of Education and Training. Over 25 years of postgraduate training, the PPA has trained more than 3000 masters, 300 doctors of law and become an important component in the training of high-quality human resources, qualified scientists for the Public Security force, the Ministry of Defense and the internal affairs agencies and police forces of Laos and Cambodia. The PPA had the honor of being presenting the Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Education and Training in recognition of outstanding achievements in the training of high-quality human resources on the occasion of summarizing 25 years of postgraduate training of the Academy.

The leaders of the PPA presented Certificates of Merit to 04 postgraduate students with outstanding achievements during their study and research

At the ceremony, the leaders of the PPA recognized and handed over the selection decision to 62 PhD students of the doctoral program, and 242 postgraduate students of the master training program in 2017. At the same time, the PPA also presented the Doctoral Degrees to 20 PhD students of the 22^nddoctor course and 278 postgraduate students of the master courses who successfully defended their theses in the school year 2016-2017. Also at the ceremony, the leaders of the PPA awarded the Certificates of Merit to 4 PhD students and 12 postgraduate students of the master training program with excellent achievements during their studies at the Academy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA congratulated 20 new PhDs, 278 Masters who have been presented the degrees, congratulated the postgraduate students who have been elected for the postgraduate training programs of the PPA. He asked the new PhDs, Masters to use the acquired knowledge to the practical work as well as collaborate with the Academy in the training and scientific research in the future.
