On August 4th, 2016, the PPA held a Ceremony
to launch the Art-Cultural Club and the Mass Art Organization to enhance the
cultural-spiritual life, promote the art-cultural movement to serve the
political tasks of the Academy.

August 2nd, 2016, the PPA was held the closing ceremony of training course on
enhancing knowledge and communication skills on wildlife protection and handed
over Detection of Environmental Crime Training (DETECT) training manual.

With the
consent of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, on July 28th,
2016, the PPA solemnly held Conference to summarize 04-year implementation of
the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which had been signed since 2012 and
signed a new MoU between the PPA and the General Department of Police, General
Department of Police for Criminal enforcement and judicial assistance, High
command of Mobile Police, Department of Police for Fire and Rescue, Department
of Traffic Police.

On July 27th, 2016, the PPA and the Korea International
Cooperation Agency (KOICA) jointly organized the Equipment Handover Ceremony
within the framework of the project “Establishment of E-Library at People's
Police Academy” sponsored by KOICA.

On July 26th, 2016,
the PPA held the Conference to sum up the results of the academic year 2015
- 2016, implement the task in new school year 2016
- 2017 and the periodic Party meeting in 2016.

On July 19th, 2016,
the PPA was held the Closing Ceremony
of professional training course for 15 officers of Ministry of Public Security of
Laos in 2016.

On June 2nd, 2016, the PPA in cooperation
with Freeland organization successfully held the training session to introduce
the application WildScan which supports investigation cases of wildlife for 20 officers,
lecturers of the PPA.

to the Decision of the Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General, Prof.
Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA attended the 9th Conference of International Investigative
Interviewing Research Group - IIIRG in London, UK.

Responding to the Campaign of Voluntary
Summer 2016, from June 25th to July 10th, 2016, the Youth
Union of the PPA in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh Law University organized the
voluntary programs in Dat Mui Commune, Ngoc Hien District, Ca Mau Province with
the theme "Journey of Cape Land".

May 26th, 2016, the PPA solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony,
presenting Bachelor’s Degree for students of course D37, D24 Laos and D1
Cambodia, school year 20011-2016.

To celebrate the 126th
birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19th, 1890 - May 19th,
2016), on May 19th, 2016, at Chu Van An Temple (Chi Linh district,
Hai Duong province), the lecturers and students of Department of Anti-hi-tech Crime Police thurified
to Teacher Chu Van An, presented gifts to the poor students overcoming
difficulties and supported for the Education Promotion Fund of primary school, secondary
school at Van An ward.

The PPA announced the Information on
the new academic and theoretical contribution of the thesis of Postgraduate
student Nguyen Cam Hang.

May 09th, 2016,
8 lecturers of
the PPA led by Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat - Vice
President of the PPA
attended the contest “Best Lecturer of training institutions of
Public Security Ministry” school
year 2015 - 2016 held by the Political General Department
of Public Security force
at the People's
Security Academy.

the consent of the leadership of Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of
Defense; on the basis of discussions between the two Agencies, on May 16th,
2016, the PPA and the High Command of Border Guard signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) in the filed of information exchange, training, scientific
research and other exchange activities.

the occasion of the 48th anniversary of establishment of the PPA (May
15th,1968 - May 15th, 2016), in the evening of May 15th,
2016, the PPA solemnly held the Anniversary Ceremony and Beauty Contest “Charming
of Criminal Justice 2016”.
