New contributions of the thesis:

1. Theoretically, the thesis has initially built theory of crime of property infringement caused by drug addicts and theory of preventing crime of property infringement caused by drug addicts. Remarkably, basing on theoretical and practical research, the thesis has built up theories on functions and tasks of the Criminal Police Force in preventing of crime of property infringement caused by drug addicts and analyzed the content, measures and coordination in prevention of this crime.

2. Practically, the thesis has clarified the real situation and characteristics related to the prevention of crime of property infringement caused by drug addicts in the provinces and cities of the Southwest region of the Criminal Police Force; real situation of organization and implementation of social and professional prevention activities for this crime. Basing on the results of the survey, the thesis has made a general assessment on advantages, limitations and causes of limitations.

3. The thesis has predicted factors influencing prevention of crime of property infringement caused by drug addicts and proposed feasible solutions to improve effectiveness of preventing crime of property infringement caused by drug addicts in the provinces and cities in the Southwest region in the coming time.
