The dissertation was conducted
in the field of human resource management, in the Vietnam’s police force. The
new contributions of the research are presented in the following contents:
Firstly, the dissertation is the first research to study both
theory and practicing of human resources management in the Vietnam’s police
force, in a comprehensive, systematic and in-depth manner. The dissertation has
built up the concept, characteristics clarifying of human resources management
in the Vietnam’s Police Force. These premise theoretical contributions will
provide basis for developing and refining theories in the future.
Secondly, the dissertation has analyzed and specified the
characteristics of circumstantial that play different role in effecting to
police source management. While analyzing detail of human resources management in
the Vietnam’s police force, including the whole sector, such as recruitment and
selection; human resource planning, job analysis performance, training,
compensation…it has tried to identify the shortcomings and limitations, as well
as causes of human resource management in the Vietnam’s police force.
Thirdly, based on the current situation, the dissertation provides
some kind of practical solutions and recommendations. The recommendations are
based on reasonable and practical way, help to improve the effectiveness of
human resource management in the Vietnam’s police force in particular.
