Attending the meeting, as for the KNPU were Chief Superintendent General Baek Seung-ho, President of the KNPU; Leaders of Training Division, International Cooperation Division and a number of the officers. On the side of the PPA were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA; leaders of units such as the Institute of Police Science, Faculty of Postgraduate Training, Office of the PPA, Training Management Division, International Cooperation Division, etc. and the Korean students studying at the PPA in the framework of cooperative program between the two training institutions.

At the meeting, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA introduced the 48-year tradition of building and development of the PPA; the work of education, training and international cooperation activities of the PPA, especially the relationship of cooperation with Korean partners, including the KNPU. The President of the PPA proposed some contents aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the two training institutions like regular exchanging the high level delegations; exchanging lecturers; organizing short-term training courses for 10-15 officers, lecturers and students besides the student exchange program annual. Furthermore, Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Yem also wished the KNPU would send a number of books, newspapers, magazines for displaying at the Korean Cultural Corner which was under construction at the library of the PPA to promote the country, people and culture of South Korea to the officers, lecturers and students of the PPA.

On behalf of the delegation of the KNPU, Chief Superintendent General Baek Seung-ho, President of the KNPU expressed the honor to visit and work at the PPA and thanked the Board of Directors of the PPA for the respectfully reception. Chief Superintendent General Baek Seung-ho reviewed the important milestones in the relations of cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea in general and between the PPA and the KNPU in particular, including the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation in education and training between the two training institutions in 2011. He also confirmed that the special purposes of this visit was to increase the exchange of lecturers and students; develop the diverse library and strengthen the cooperation between the two sides in various fields.

On this occasion, the delegation of KNPU visited the campus of the PPA, including the E-Library Project sponsored by the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) which was expected to preliminary complete in June, 2016.
