On 15th Sep 2015, Comrade Lieutenant-General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - Director of the People's Police Academy had a meeting and worked with Mr. Phan Anh Son, member of the Standing Committee of the Union of Friendship Organizations Vietnam, Head of the People's Aid Coordination (PACCOM) and some managing comrades and functional officers of Department. There were representatives of Heads of the People's Police Academy such as International Cooperation Division, Office of the Academy, Department of Logistics, Central Archives and Library whom also participated the meeting.
At the meeting, comrade Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - Academy President welcomed and introduced to the Comrade Heads and officers of PACCOM about history, development, types of training program in the People's Police Academy. Comrade stressed that Police Minister signed Decision lately to recognize the People's Police Academy which is the training base of the police sector. To meet these requirements of the police sector, the Academy have been trying to improve the facilities and equipment to serve teaching, studying; improving teaching quality and to actively cooperate with the educational institutions and the police force of neighboring countries as well as over the world. The President of the PPA proposed the leaders of PACCOM to coordinate, suport the Academy in the appropriate fields as: improving the capacity for the Police Profession Library , support the volunteer teaching English for students in the Academy ,etc.
Toward PACCOM, Mr. Phan Anh Son expressed his delight to visit and work in the People's Police Academy. He also shared the sector's activities and confirmed PACCOM will closely coordinate and support the People's Police Academy, with an initial focus on 04 specific areas, including: Support Academy 02 multimedia classrooms at the Library of the Academy; provide books, foreign language documents for the library of the Academy; Support sending 06 volunteers who are British English / American / Australian teachers on foreign language teaching at the Academy; Donating clothes, workout facilities for the football team of the Academy.
On behalf of the Board of Directors People's Police Academy, Comrade Lieutenant-General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem expressed his personal thanks to Mr. Phan Anh Son and collective goodwill Heads of cooperation and believe that discussed activities will be held successfully and cooperative relationship between the two units will be tightly strong.
At the end of the meeting, the Director of the Academy and the delegation offered incense at the Temple of Literature Academy, Park monument to President Ho Chi Minh and the Minister of Public Security incidents and visit the facilities of school.
