On April 4th, 2015, at the PPA, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA had the courtesy meeting with Professor Galushkin Alexander, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Technology and intelligent computing systems, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Attending the reception were also leaders of the PPA’s units.
At the meeting, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA presented the overview of history and development of the People's Police Academy. The President of the Academy emphasized that the PPA was the center for scientific research on the crime prevention in general and high-tech crime prevention in particular. This is one of the similarities between the PPA and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, therefore, Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Yem expressed his desire about the cooperation between the two Agencies especially in the field of training the information technology and network security.
At the meeting, Professor Alexander Galushkin and the President of the Academy exchanged some information about the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and the professional knowledge of Prof. Galushkin. In details, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology was established in 1946 on the basis of separation from the Department of Physics of Moscow State University. The Institute was founded by three Russian academicians who awarded the Noble Prize in Physics (Pyotr Kapitsa, Nikolay Nikolayevich Semyonv, Lev Landau) with the aims to establish the research center, training of scientists in the field of security and defense. Currently, Prof. Galushkin is in charge of Research Committee on applying the intelligent computer in data protection and network security of the Russian Government. On this ocassion, the Professor commited to share the information and experiences with the lecturers and students of the PPA in the field of cyber security and cybercrime prevention. Besides, Prof. Galushkin delivered that the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology was implementing the international training cooperation programs. Accordingly, the Institute would be ready to receive the lecturers as well as the undergraduate and postgraduate students of the PPA to practice in information technology and network security.

Overview of the meeting
On behalf of the Directorate of the PPA, Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Yem thanked Prof. Alexander Galushkin for opening the cooperation opportunities between the two Agencies. The President of the Academy confirmed that in the coming time, the PPA would continue to study the relevant documents and consult the opinion of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security about the possibility of training cooperation between the PPA and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in the field of training information technology, network security and exchange programs of lecturers, students between the two training institutions.
