With the approval of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, on December 3rd, 2019, the PPA welcomed delegates of the Department of Foreign Relations, Ministry of Interior of France led by Ms. Sophie Hatt, Director of the Department of Foreign Relations. The meeting was chaired by Major General, Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Huong, President of the PPA.

From October 14 to October 18, 2019, at the PPA, the Department of Legal and Administrative Judiciary Reform - Ministry of Public Security collaborated with Clingendael Academy - Kingdom of the Netherlands to organize 2 training courses on the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (commonly known as the United Nations Convention against Torture (UNCAT)).

On October 17th, 2019, the PPA held the opening ceremony of the training course on administrative management for officers of the Ministry of the Interior of Cambodia.

From October 14th to 17th, 2019, the PPA delegation led by the Senior Colonel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Cong Nguyen, Vice President of the PPA attended the 4th General Assembly Annual Meeting (GAAM) of the Association of Police Training Institutions in Asia (APTA) in Manila, the Philippines.

Under the permission of the Ministry of Public Security, from October 3rd to 5th, 2019, the PPA 05-member delegation led by Major General, Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Huong, President of the Academy attended the International Conference on “Experience and tradition in training police forces” to celebrate the 52th anniversary of establishment of the Volgograd Academy and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation in Training and Scientific Research between the PPA and the Volgograd Academy.

On September 17th, 2019, the PPA welcomed and worked with a high-ranking delegation of Sri Lankan National Police led by Mr. Sanjeewa Dharmaratna - Deputy Inspector General of the Sri Lanka Police.

On September 12th, 2019, Mr. Mark Holton, Chief Immigration Officer of UK Immigration Enforcement visited the PPA on the occasion of starting his mission in Vietnam. Major General, Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Huong - President of the PPA presided at the meeting.

From 12th -15th August, 2019, the high-ranking delegation of the PPA led by Major General, Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Huong, President of the Academy paid the working visit at the Police Academy of Cambodia.

On August 29th 2019, PPA held a Handover Ceremony of the Manual on Human Trafficking Prevention and Support for Victims of Human Trafficking Crime.

At the invitation of President of the Royal Police Cadet Academy of Thailand (RPCA), Major General Tran Minh Huong - President of the PPA accompanied by senior officers of PPA arrived at the RPCA on July 30th, 2019 for five-day official visit.

Within the framework of cooperation program with USAID Wildlife Asia (UWA), July 25th, 2019, the PPA had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Peter Collier, the new Director of the UWA.

On July 23rd, 2019, Mr. Patrick Joseph Harms - Security Attaché of U.S. Embassy Hanoi visited the PPA on the occasion of his new term in Vietnam. Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang - Vice President of the PPA hosted the meeting with the participants of PPA’s functional departments.

On June 5th, 2019, the PPA held the Scientific Seminar: “International cooperation in training high quality human resources - Orientation of study abroad and career for students graduating from the universities under the Ministry of Interior of the Russian Federation” and cultural exchanges to celebrate the Vietnam Year in Russia and the Russia Year in Vietnam during 2019 - 2020.

On May 28th, 2019, the delegation of Royal Thai Police Cadet Academy (RPCA) led by Major General Sutthi Phuangphikun - Director of the Training Institute had a working visit to the PPA. Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang - Vice President of the PPA and representatives of the PPA’s functional departments received the delegation.
