On April 25th, 2017, Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA had a meeting with the delegation of United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) led by Mrs. Noriko - Specialist on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, Regional Office for Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

On March 30th, 2017, the PPA
organized Closing ceremony of training course on “Crime prevention in the
context of international integration” for officers and students of the Royal
Thai Police Academy (RTPA).

On March 23rd, 2017, PPA in cooperation with the Theoretical Subcommittee
on Social Order and Safety, MPS’s Theoretical Council held the Scientific Conference:
“Preventing transnational organized crime in the
establishment of the ASEAN Community - A Theoretical perspective”.

On March 21st, 2017, the PPA organized Opening
ceremony of short-term training course on “Crime prevention in the context of international
integration” for 20 officers and students of the Royal Thai Police Academy
(RTPA). Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA
attended and chaired the ceremony.

On March 21st, the delegation of Ministry of
Interiorof Cambodia led by General Samrirh Di, Deputy Minister of State -
Ministry of Interior of Cambodia visited PPA and met the Cambodian students studying
at Academy. Major General, Assoc.Prof.DrTran Minh Chat, Vice President of PPA received
the delegation.

On March 10th, 2017, Prof. Francoise BarreSinoussi
gave a practical report to officers, lecturers and students of PPA with the
theme "Challenges to stop the HIV epidemic". She is a doctor,
scientist who discovered the HIV virus and was awarded the Nobel Prize for
Medicine for this achievement.

On March 16th, 2017, Lieutenant General,
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA paid a courtesy meeting to Mr.
Kim Jinoh, Country Director of KOICA Vietnam on the occasion of beginning his
tenure in Vietnam.

Within the framework of
cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the
Australian Federal Police (AFP), from February 17th to 27th,
2017, the participants of 42nd Asia Region Law Enforcement Management Program
(ARLEMP 42) had a program of work at the PPA.

On January 11th, 2017, PPA had a meeting with the
delegation of Liaison officers of Australian Federal Police (AFP) in Vietnam.

In an exciting atmosphere of Lunar New Year 2017,
celebrating 87 years of establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on
January 20th, 2017, PPA held the inauguration ceremony of Statue of
Revolutionist Felix Dzerzhinsky, founder of the first Soviet Public Security
agencies in the world with the famous quote: "the Public Security officers must have a cool head, warm heart
and clean hands" .

In recent years, with the attention and guidance of leaders of the Ministry of Puplic Sercurity (MPS), PPA has extended to enhance cooperation with international partners with high efficiency, especially with Korean partners.

On December 19th, 2016, the PPA’s leaders had a
meeting with the high-ranking delegation of Royal Thai Police Academy under the
annual exchange of delegationinthe new MoU between the two Academies.

On December 9th,2016,
PPA had a courtesy meeting with the independent evaluation delegation after the
project "Support to strengthen the traffic police training at PPA and
police training institutions in Vietnam" under the request of the Japanese
International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

In the framework of ASEANAPOL cooperation mechanism from November
14th to 17th 2016, the delegations of PPA and People's
Police College led by Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Chat, Vice
President attended 7th ASEANAPOL Police Training Cooperation Meeting
(APTCM) in Kuala Lumpur city, Malaysia.

Implementing plan of cooperation in 2016 between the Ministry
of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam and the Interior Ministry of the Kingdom of
Cambodia, from 6th-11th November, 2016, the senior
delegation of PPA led by Lieutenant General Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President
of Academy visited, worked, and signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with
the Public Security Academy of Cambodia.
