On April 11th, 2019, the PPA held the Closing Ceremony of the Pilot Training Courses on Human Trafficking Investigation for investigators.

From 25th to 30th March, 2019, the PPA in cooperating with the USAID Wildlife Asia (The U.S. Agency for International Development) and the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), successfully organized the training course on Counter Transnational Organized Crime relating to wildlife (CTOC).

On April 4th, 2019, at the PPA, General Chan Ean, Secretary of State of the Interior Ministry of Cambodia had a working session on the work of Cambodian students and cadets at training institutions under the cooperation between the Cambodian Ministry of Interior and the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security.

The People’s Police Academy of Vietnam on January 8 held a ceremony to sign a deal on training cooperation with the Yunnan Police Officer Academy (China).

From October 10th to 16th, 2018, the PPA’s delegation led by Senior Colonel, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dac Hoan - Vice President of the Academy attended the 70th anniversary of the People’s Public Security University of China (PPSUC), participated in the Police Science Forum hosted by PPSUC and had a bilateral working session with the PPSUC’s leader.

In the past years, following the policy of the Party, the State and the guidance of the Ministry of Public Security, with the view of becoming the major national standard institution of higher education, the People's Police Academy has been promoting its international relations and cooperation, especially in police training.

Under the permission of the Minister of Public Security, within the framework of the Association of Police Training Institute in Asia (APTA) in 2018, the PPA’s delegation led by Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Chat - Vice President of the Academy attended the 3rd Conference held at the Royal Police Cadet Academy in Thailand from 17th - 20th September, 2018.

From 17th - 22nd September, 2018, the delegation of Ministry of Public Security led by Senior Colonel Pham Cong Nguyen - Vice President of the People’s Police Academy participated in the 3rd China-ASEAN Police Academic Forum in Nanning City, Guangxi Province, China.

On September 10th, 2018, at the PPA campus, the Common Police Term Handbook, which is jointly compiled and edited by the officers from New South Wales (NSW) police force and the PPA, was introduced to the lecturers and students of the PPA.

On September 07th, 2018, H.E. Gareth Ward - Ambassador of the British to Vietnam paid a working visit to the PPA. Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Chat - Vice President of the PPA hosted the meeting with the participant of functional departments.

On August 28th, 2018, the delegation of Zhejiang Police College, China led by Mr. Jiang Zhen Ming - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the College had a working visit to the People’s Police Academy. Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang - Vice President of the PPA hosted the meeting together with functional divisions of the PPA.

On August 14th, 2018, with the approval of the Ministry of Public Security, the PPA hold a meeting to exchange experience on training and scientific research with the delegation of Indonesian Traffic Police led by Brigadier General Halim Pagarra - Director of Registration and Identification.

On August 10th, 2018, the PPA held the closing ceremony of the training course on transnational crimes prevention for officers of the Interior Ministry of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The three-month training course is one of the components under the annual cooperation plan between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Cambodian Ministry of Interior.
