Implementing Decision
No.530/QD-BCA-V12 dated 05/6/2015 of the Ministry of Public Security, from 8th
-19th June, 2015, the delegation of PPA led by Lieutenant Colonel Ta
Ngoc Vang - Deputy Head of Student Management Department successfully completed
the short-term training course at the Royal Thai Police Academy. Participating
the delegation were also officers of the Office of PPA, International
Cooperation Department, Faculty of Armed Police and 11 participants of the PPA.

In the morning of May 15th, 2015,
Major General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA chaired the Closing
Ceremony for training course on “Experience in investigation and international cooperation in
combating crime of human trafficking” co-held by the PPA, the US Embassy in
Hanoi, US Homeland Security Department and US Foreign Affairs Department.

On May 8th, 2015,
Lieutenant General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - President of the PPA had the
meeting with Mr. Axel Neubert - Chief Representative of the Hanns Seidel's
office in Hanoi. Also attending the meeting were representatives of the
functional units of the Academy.

With the consent of the head of the
Ministry of Public Security, on the basis of the exchange agreement between the
PPA of Vietnam and the University of Maryland, USA, on April 14th,
2015, the PPA solemnly held the Opening Ceremony for 2nd Master
training course - joint program on Leadership in the field of Criminal Justice
and Crime Prevention.

On April 4th, 2015, at the PPA, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA had the courtesy meeting with Professor Galushkin Alexander, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Technology and intelligent computing systems, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Attending the reception were also leaders of the PPA’s units.

On March 27th, 2015, the delegation of Historical
and Scientific Research Department, the Ministry of Public Security of Laos led
by Director, Senior Colonel, Dr. Van-huong Nan-tha-chac visited and
worked at the PPA.

In the framework of
cooperation between the PPA and the Royal
Thai Police
Academy, on March 17th, 2015,
the PPA held the opening ceremony on the training courses on crime prevention for
the officers of the Royal
Thai Police
Academy.

On March 17th, 2015, at the PPA,
Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA hosted the
meeting and working with the delegation of Public Administration Committee of
the Bavarian state Parliament, the Federal Republic of Germany led by Mrs.
Ingrid Heckner, Chairman of Public Administration Committee, Bavarian state Parliament,
the Federal Republic of Germany.

In the framework
of cooperation with the Embassy of the United Kingdom and National Crime
Agency (NCA), under the guidance of leader of the MPS, on January 26th,
2014, the PPA in cooperation with the Embassy of UK organized the opening
ceremony of the advanced program on Anti-money laundering."

As a part of the
collaboration plan between the Ministry of Public Security and the Surveying
Delegation for Project "Training English for police forces in
Vietnam," of the US Embassy, on January 14th, 2015, at the PPA,
Major General Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA had a courtesy meeting
with head of the surveying delegation for project, Mrs. Lottie L.Baker, PH.D of
Pedagogy, Language experts of the United States Department of State.

In the framework
of foreign affairs and international cooperation of the PPA, on December 29th,
2014, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA
received and worked with Mr. Trieu Van Bang (Zhao Wanpeng), Police Counsellor
of Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Vietnam. Attending the meeting
also were Mr. Kim Quang Ngo (Wu Guanjin), Police Liaison Officer - 3rd
Secretary and the functional units of the PPA.

On the
occasion of the 39th Anniversary of the National Day of Lao PDR, on December 2nd,
2014, the Board of Directorates and officers,
teachers and students of the PPA visited and presented the flowers to
congratulate the Lao students who are studying at the PPA.

On October 24th, 2014, Senior
Colonel, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thien Phu, Vice President of the PPA attended
the Conference on ODA mobilization for Public Security sector co-held by the
Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Ministry of Public Security (M.P.S)
in Hanoi.

On the occasion of the 61st
anniversary of the Cambodia’s National Day (November 9th, 1953 -
2014), with the traditional friendship between the two countries and the close
cooperation between the MPS of Vietnam and the Ministry of Interior of
Cambodia, on November 7th, 2014, the PPA held and congratulated the Anniversary
of National Day for the Cambodian students who are studying at the Academy.

Within the framework of cooperation
of ASEANAPOL, implementing the decision of the MPS, the People's Police
delegation of Vietnam led by
Major General.Prof.Dr Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President attended the 5th
ASEANAPOL Police Training Cooperation Meeting (called APTCM) in Manila, Republic of the Philippines.
