On 21st-22nd
March, 2013, the KOICA’s delegation for surveying feasibility of the project
“Construction of Electronic Library at the PPA visited and worked at the PPA.
Receiving and working with the delegation was Colonel, Dr. Tran Minh Chat,
Deputy Director of the PPA.

Under the consent of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security,
the PPA’s delegation led by Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director
of the People's Police Academy attended to the second meeting of International
Association of Police Academies (INTERPA) at Riyadh Capital of Saudi Arabia
from 14th April 2013 – 17th April 2013.

On 21st
March, 2013, in Ha Noi, Lieutenant General Bui Quang Ben, member of Central
Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Minister of Public
Security and Director of the PPA welcomed the KOICA’s delegation led by Mr. Kim
In, chief representative of KOICA in Viet Nam to discuss feasibility of the
project “Construction of Electronic Library at the PPA.

As a part of cooperative program between the Vietnamese Ministry of
Public Security and the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as
cooperative schedule of the PPA and the Moscow University, between 20th
to 28th, February 2013, the PPA delegation led by Major General,
Prof.Dr Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director of the PPA visited officially some training
units within the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs to discuss cooperative
measures on police training and scientific research between both sides.

In the framework of international cooperation in the
field of education and training between the People's Police Academy and the
Australian Federal Police, on 28th, March, 2013, with the support
and collaboration of the Office of the Australian Federal Police in Hanoi, the
Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) to the introduction
and presentation of the Australian Government's scholarship program is now
available to all candidates Vietnam, including Vietnamese Police Force in
general, and all of lecturer and students of the PPA in particular.

Within the framework of international
cooperation between the People's Police Academy and the international
consulting agencies and non-governmental organizations related to the training
law enforcement forces, Australia, on 24 January 2013 at the PPA, on behalf of
the Directorate, Major General Prof. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President, also heads of
functional units of the Academy warmly welcomed Mr. Alan McCagh, CEO and general
manager for international cooperation programs in the field of Justice and
Security (Coffey International Development, Australia).

In
the framework of international cooperation program 2012 of the Ministry of Public Security. Implementing the Memorandum
cooperation between the PPA and the Royal Thai Police Academy. The high delegation of the Royal Thai Police Academy led by Major
General Dr. Wisit Empraneat, Deputy Director of the RTPA visited and worked with the PPA from 18th
to Dec, 23rd 2012.

On 23 January 2013, Major General, Prof.Dr Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director of
the PPA worked with Colonel Richard Terry, former head of the liaison officer
of the Australian Federal Police’s Office (AFP) and welcomed Commander
Christopher McDevitt, new senior liaison of the office.

Under the
cooperation treaty between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the
Palestinian Ministry of Interior, the PPA held a solemn opening ceremony of
professional course for police officers of the Ministry of Interior of Palestine.

In the framework
of the project “Enhancing traffic safety on the highways in the Northern Vietnam”, on January 11th, the PPA held a
closing ceremony of the training course on enforcement for traffic police.

According to the Announcement of the 32nd ASEANAPOL Conference, the 3rd annual Conference on training Police Cooperation of ASEAN was held from January 4th to December 8th, 2012, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

On December 22nd, 2012, the PPA
formally held the closing ceremony of criminal investigation police training course
for the Laos Ministry of Security.
Attending the ceremony were Major General, Prof.Dr Nguyen Huy Thuat, Deputy
Director of the PPA; leaders of functional units within the PPA and students of
the course.

Morning, Nov, 12th, at the invitation of the PPA, Colonel
Richard Terry – Attacher of AFP gave a specialized report on the Experiences of
fighting against transnational crime and high tech crime in Australia for
students of Fostering Deputy Director
and equivalent class of the Police force have been studying in the PPA.

Implementation
of the working plan on international cooperation of the PPA, November 1st,
2012, the Director of the PPA welcomed, and had a meeting with Mr.Kim In, Chief
Representative of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Vietnam.

Morning 10/15/2012, in
Hanoi, with the consent of the Party Central Committee of Public Security, the
leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Leadership Office 165 –
Organization Department of the Central Party Committee, Vietnamese People's
Police Academy Co-operated with the University of Maryland - United States to organize
the graduation ceremony of the first cohort of the joint educational program on
Master’s degree in justice leadership.
