The special emulation movement to celebrate 70 traditional years of Public Security Force of Vietnam was launched to encourage the officers, lecturers, employees and students raise the awareness and pride of the glorious tradition of the Public Security Force as well as the PPA. Thereby, it would create the drastic changes in perception and action in the face of teaching, learning, scientific research, etc. to complete outstandingly the assigned tasks. For these purposes, the emulation movement was officially carried out from now on to September 30th, 2015 and divided into 4 stages related to the important anniversaries of the Nation, the Public Security Force and the PPA.

Responding to this important event, the officers, lecturers, employees and students of the PPA were confident and excited with the contents of the special emulation movement. The movement was not only to implement the resolutions, directives, guidance of the Ministry of Public Security, but also to create the breakthrough, the qualitative change for the Academy to become the key training institutions of the MPS in 2015. All officers, lecturers, employees and students of the PPA were aware the importance and significance of the special movement and consented to the plan on launching the movement directed by the PPA. Every collective, every individual within the PPA would continuously study, practice, reinforce following the mirror and the moral of President Ho Chi Minh; resolutely struggle with negative symptoms, lack of a sense of responsibility in the work; be positive, dynamic, innovative, determined to fulfill the work targets.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Major General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Vice President of the PPA emphasized: the launch of the movement was one of the effective measures to strengthen the action to complete outstandingly the assigned political tasks. The Vice President of the PPA required each unit of the Academy to make out the specific plan to implement the contents of the movement, which clearly define the key tasks and solutions of each stage. The Department of Political Affairs of the Academy would guide the units to make plan in accordance with the professional duties; gather and monitor the implementation of the unit. The Academy would organize the preliminary and summarizing of movement to assess the results base on the plan and report of each unit.

Party Central Committee (term XI) for officers, lecturers and students of the PPA

After the Launching Ceremony, the Party Committee of the Academy grasped thoroughly the Resolution of 9^th Party Central Committee (term XI) on the building and development of culture and people of Vietnam to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country. Dr. Nguyen Toan Thang, Director of the Institute for Culture and Development, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration presented the core issue of Resolution No.33 dated 09/06/2014 of the Party Central Committee. It stated: the culture, arts; building and development culture, people of Vietnam are major strategies of the Party in the new development era of the country; building of ethnic culture is built the Vietnamese generations with specific criteria and qualities, Vietnamese people are the motivation for the building and development of culture and country. These were the important understanding to help the officers, lecturers, employees and students of the Academy implement the working plan effectively; toward the special emulation movement to celebrate the major events of the Nation in 2015.
