Attending the ceremony were Major General, Prof. Dr Nguyen Van Nhat, Vice President of the PPA; Colonel, Prof. Dr Nguyen Dac Hoan, Vice President of the PPA; leaders of the functional units and 1127 students of courses D41 and D28 Laos.

This is one of the three compulsory training, practicing courses for regular tertiary education students, including: social and political practice, basic professional internship and final internship. In particular, the basic professional internship is organized after students completed the general subjects and the basic professional subjects of the People's Police force.

The basic professional internship plays a very important role in the training process which aims to help students initially approach, accustom and directly participate in parts of Public Security tasks such as: mobilizing the masses to construct the movement of protecting the national security; basic professional activities and other activities such as watches, people receptions, receiving crime denouncements and patrolling.

This year, 1127 students of courses D41 and D28 Laos will practice basic professions in 17 areas of Bac Ninh province and Bac Giang province. In addition, the PPAwill also send officers and lecturers of specialized departments to participate in practical work in these areas whichhave many achievements and experiences in the implementation of professional work. Simultaneously, the social and economic situation, security and order of these have favorable conditions for students to study and practice.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel, Prof. Dr Nguyen Dac Hoan, Vice President of the PPA suggested officers, lecturers and students taking part in the internship to be fully aware of these following tasks:

- Firstly, strictly observe the assignments and conventions of the PPA and the local Public Security forces. Quickly stabilize and implement the contents, requirements, tasks under the plan, always ready to receive and perform well the assigned tasks.

- Secondly, during the internship, officers, lecturers and students must always abide by the law, rulesof the Ministry of Public Security, the PPA and local Public Security forces. Strictly follow the working processes and regulations; abide by the leadership, direction and assignment of tasks of local units and officers guiding seriously; execute the management the same as the officers of the local units; strictly abide by the regulations on protection of State secrets, preservation and using of professional documents of the Ministry of Public Security.

- Thirdly, always try to overcome all difficulties, apply all knowledge and experiences to the internship; actively cultivate and learn so as to well accomplish tasks and practical norms.

- Fourthly, conserve the postures and manners when working and contacting with the masses; preserve the solidarity and stick with the officers local units; actively help comrades, teammates, especially international students in order to accomplish assigned tasks.

- Finally, keep in touch with local units, the class monitors and the head teacher; timely propose and report to the leaders of the local units and the PPA to solve difficulties and problems arising during the internship.

With the pride of being officers and students of the People's Police Academy, which was 2 times awarded the title “Hero of the People's Armed Forces”, the Vice President of the PPA believed that the officers, lecturers and students attending the internship would try their best to fulfill their assigned tasks, contributing to the overall achievements of the Academy in the academic year of 2017 - 2018.
