The People’s Public Security of China paid a visit to the People’s Police Academy

Also attending the meeting were Major General, Assoc Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of PPA, representatives of the International Cooperation Department, Administration Office, Training Management Department, Student Management Department.

This is an activity as part of  the visit of the delegation of the People's Public Security University of China to Vietnam. Previously, the delegation attended the 50th anniversary of the People's Police Academy and the international scientific seminar "Police Training in the New Situation – Experiences of Vietnam and International "organized by the PPA as the invitation of the PPA’s President.

At the meeting, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - President of the PPA warmly welcomed the delegation of the People's Public Security University of China to visit the People's Police Academy of Vietnam and introduced the main features of the process of formation, development and strength of the Academy over the years. In term of international cooperation, the PPA has established cooperative relationships with many countries in the region and in the world, especially in academic exchanges, exchanges of lecturers and students. During the meeting, the President expressed a wish to promote the joint training programs and develop a stronger cooperative relationship with the People's Public Security University of China.

On behalf of the delegation of People's Public Security University of China, Mr. Zhou Zhenyu - Vice Principal sent a congratulatory message to the 50th anniversary of  the People's Police Academy and thanked the enthusiastic reception of the PPA’s leaders. During this visit, the People's Public Security University of China promised to paid great attention to promote cooperation in education with People's Police Academy of Vietnam.

As part of the meeting, leaders of the both academies discussed about the opportunities to cooperate, in specific: to deploy the exchange of students between the two academies; to exchange delegations of faculties, lecturers and students attending short-term training courses.

At the end of the meeting, the leaders of the two academies agreed to cooperate on the implementation of cooperation programs and wished to promote bilateral relationships contributing to tightening the friendship between Vietnam and China in the field of education and training.
