Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Tran Binh Giang - Director of Vietnam - Germany Friendship Hospital; Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - Director of PPA; Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Deputy Director of Hospital 198, Ministry of Public Security; representatives of departments and faculties of the Vietnam - Germany Friendship Hospital and PPA.

Over the past years, grasping the guideline "Learning to go together with the school and society associated with it", the PPA has actively reported to the Ministry of Public Security to allow the signing of cooperation with many units inside and outside the police force as well as a number of academies and police training schools around the world. The signing ceremony between the PPA and the Vietnam - Germany Friendship Hospital continues to show the concrete implementation of this policy.

The signing is based on the principle of equality of responsibilities, rights and obligations in the implementation of commitments, including: Cooperation in scientific research; Cooperation in training and fostering officers; Cooperation in the protection of security, social order, health care; Cooperation in advocacy activities, voluntary blood donation and other works. Annually, each unit shall organize the preliminary review and evaluation of the coordination results, work out orientations, tasks and solutions for implementation in following years.

Accordingly, the PPA supports the Vietnam - Germany Friendship Hospital in training and fostering knowledge of Defense - Security, educating law of crime prevention and social evils for the officers of the hospital under the program of national defense and security education prescribed by the State; organizing military training, martial arts and professional operations for the contingent of security guards, security guards and officials engaged in the work of ensuring security and order in hospitals and organizing training, examination and granting of papers. Car driving license; Propagandize, disseminate and educate road traffic law to staffs and employees of the hospital upon request.

On the side of Vietnam - Germany Friendship Hospital, support and help the PPA in training and retraining professional staffs for the medical staff and officers of the Academy; teaching and training of general knowledge, first aid... for the academic system of the Academy; Organizing propaganda and guiding officers and students of the PPA on disease prevention, protection and care, environmental protection, hygiene and food safety together with teaching, training and organizing extra-curricular activities, conducting practical research on the contents of prevention and combating crimes related to the health sector.

The PPA and Vietnam - Germany Friendship Hospital is committed to cooperating, exchanging and helping each other in accordance with the capacity and conditions of each side in the spirit of voluntary, compliance with laws and regulations of the State, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Public Security. The cooperation between the two sides is carried out regularly according to the plan and adjusted to suit requirements and tasks from time to time, under the direct leadership of Director of Vietnam - Germany Friendship Hospital and Director National People's Congress. The two sides are equal in terms of responsibilities, rights and obligations to implement the commitments, build solidarity and close ties, help each other develop.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tran Binh Giang - Director of Friendship Hospital highly appreciated the cooperation between the two units. The Director of the hospital stated that the Vietnamese PPA and Vietnam - Germany Friendship Hospital had many similarities, especially the tradition of education, training and scientific research. Over the years, Vietnam - Germany Friendship Hospital has also received the help and coordination of the Public Security forces in the process of building and development of the hospital, thereby hopefully a memorandum of cooperation with the PPA will be the legal basis for the long-term cooperation between the two units.

At the signing ceremony, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the Academy affirmed that the cooperation between the two sides will develop and bring practical effects. The President also shared that, in the coming time, the PPA will organize to prevent theft, fraud… in some big hospitals in Hanoi.

PPA’s student actively participated in voluntary blood donation

On the same day with the signing ceremony, the Youth Union of the PPA has cooperated with the Vietnam - Germany Friendship Hospital to hold voluntary blood donations with the participation of the large number of officers, lecturers and students in the Academy. At the end of the blood donation, the Organizing Committee collected more than 1000 blood units for the treatment of patients.
