Attending the Opening Ceremony of the contest were Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nhat, Vice President of the PPA; Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Director of Advisory Department; Lieutenant Colonel Vu Manh Ha, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Trade Union of Public Security force; representatives of the police training institutions in the Northern.

The teams actively prepared to cook

The contest created the opportunities for the branches in the Trade Union of Political General Department to exchange the experiences, contributed to raising the awareness and skills of cooking, food processing, improving the service quality in the units. Joining the contest, each 5-member team had to cook a meal that cost VND 900,000 with the theme “cooking for conference”.

The judge evaluated the dishes of each team

Just in two hours, the teams expressed many unique and creative cooking ideas, the dishes were not only delicious but also very attractive and beautiful decoration. Most of the teams selected the simple and familiar dishes like crab soup, fish tart sauce, barbecue in bamboo, mixed salad, rolled noodle, etc. By the skillful hands of the teams, the popular dishes became very unique ones with delicious taste and got the highly appreciation from the judge and fans. At the end of the contest, the teams from the PPA and Center of Broadcast, Television, Film of the Public Security force won the 1^st prizes.

The contest “The Best Cooking” was the very significant activity, contributed to improving the solidarity to fulfill the professional tasks, build the happy families and strive to build the stronger trade union in the police training institutions.
