New contributions of the thesis:
1. The doctoral thesis is the first work on the theory and practice of mass mobilization by the People's Police in preventing and fighting against corruption crime in a comprehensive, systematic and intensive manner. The doctoral thesis has established the concept, legal signs of this crime and the theory of mass mobilization by the People's Police in preventing and fighting against corruption crime. This is the knowledge that contributes to supplement and perfect the theory of crime and crime prevention in Vietnam.

2. The doctoral thesis analyzes and specifies the criminal characteristics of the corruption crime; at the same time, the doctoral thesis analyzes the situation of mass mobilization by the People's Police in preventing and fighting against this crime as well as analyzes the situation of coordination relations and international cooperation in preventing and fighting against corruption crime. 

3. The thesis has pointed out specific issues associated with the results of the application of mass mobilization measures of the People's Police in preventing and fighting against corruption crime; analyzed and evaluated the achievements, advantages, disadvantages, limitations and causes in the process of applying mass mobilization measures of the People's Police in preventing and fighting against corruption crime.

4. On the basis of theoretical awareness and survey of the situation of mass mobilization measures of the People's Police in preventing and fighting against corruption crime, the doctoral thesis has given solutions and proposed a number of theoretical and practical issues in order to contribute to improve the effectiveness of mass mobilization measures of the People's Police in preventing and fighting against corruption crime in the coming time.
