New contribution of the thesis:

The thesis is systematically and comprehensively researched on the activities of researching and using criminological characteristics of property robbers in prevention according to the function of Criminal Police. The new contributions of the thesis are shown as follows:

- The thesis has made contribution to improving the theoritical system of criminological characteristics of criminals in general and property robbers in particular, making supplementation and improvement to the research and use of criminological characteristics of property robbers in prevention according to the function of Criminal Police.

- The thesis has objectively and comprehensively examined, analyzed, evaluated the real situation of activities of researching and using criminological characteristics of property robbers in prevention according to the function of Criminal Police in our country from 2007 to 2016, and it has provided the comments, evaluation on the advantages, disadvantages, shortcomings and the reasons for such disadvantages, shortcomings in the activities of researching and using criminological characteristics of property robbers in prevention according to the function of Criminal Police.

- The thesis has provided forecasts on the situation of researching and using criminological characteristics of property robbers for crime prevention and the factors affecting such actitivies of the Criminal Police. On that basis, the thesis has proposed feasible solutions so as to enhance the effectiveness of researching, using criminological characteristics of property robbers in prevention according to the function of Criminal Police in the coming time.
