President of PPA attends annual international conference on "Innovation in Law Enforcement" in Mongolia

This conference had the participation of 19 delegations which represented for police training institutions of the countries such as Japan, USA, Germany, Finland, Netherlands, France, Canada, Australia, Turkey, South Korea, Buryatia, Denmark, Poland, Italy, Malaysia, Russia, China, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

 

With theme "Innovation in law enforcement”, the conference focused on the discussions on renovating and enhancing the effectiveness of law enforcement forces and improving the effectiveness of cooperation between the police training institutions in the world, from that offering the strategies and solutions to further enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement in accordance with the order and safety situation in the current context and in the future.

 

The main discussions of the conference included:

- Reforming the law enforcement;

- Innovation the application of engineering science and technology in law enforcement;

- The important role of international cooperation activities in law enforcement.

In addition, a number of invited speakers had the speeches to share the researches, analyses and trends of links and cooperation between the police forces of different countries in general and between the police training institutions  in particular, from which showed clearly the change in the current concept of law enforcement; the organizing tendency of the law enforcement agencies to be able to meet the requirements of legal protection for people as well as the international experiences in the electronic management of the law enforcement organizations.

 

On the sidelines of the conference, the Executive University of Mongolia signed a Memorandum of Understanding with 3 training institutions in the world are: the National Police University of Turkey, the Kyonggi University of South Korea and the Academy of Justice Support and Criminal of Russian Federation. On this occasion, the Executive University of Mongolia presented the honorary doctorate degree for Mr. Kim Kiun, Chairman of Kyonggi University, Korea.

 

Following the annual conference, the Vietnamese delegation attended the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Executive University of Mongolia. The anniversary was held solemnly with the parade program at Genghis Khan Square, Ulan Bator and the National Convention Center. On the occasion, Minister of Justice of Mongolia Kh.Temuujin presented the medals and honor rewards to Maj. Gen. R.Chingis, Rector of Executive University of Mongolia. The delegations and international organizations also had the souvenir gifts to congratulate the University.

 

After the anniversary, Maj.Gen R.Chingis, Rector of the University Executive Mongolia had a courtesy meeting with the delegation of Vietnam. At the meeting, the head of delegation of Vietnam, Lt.Gen, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem congratulated Rector of the Executive University for the achieved achievements of the university over the 80 years of development and growth. The two sides also exchanged the joint views in the police training objectives of the two countries and agreed to strengthen cooperation, share experiences in the police training and scientific research between the universities. The two both sides also agreed to report the leaders of the two Ministries about the possibility of signing the Memorandum of Understanding between the two Academies in the future.
