At the meeting, the participants reviewed the heroic history of the national resistance days and the glorious tradition, the victories of the Army and the people of Vietnam; thereby aroused the national pride, the patriotism to build the strong national defense, meet the needs and tasks during new period of the revolution, contribute to the cause of building and protecting the country.

At the meeting, on behalf of the Party Committee, the Directorate of the PPA, Senior Colonel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Chat, Vice President of the PPA sent good wishes to all officers and soldiers of the People’s Army of Vietnam in general, the Unit 871 - General Political Department, Criminal Investigation Department, Ministry of Defense and the military students studying at the PPA in particular. He confirmed the firm cooperation relationship between the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Public Security as well as between the military schools and the PPA in recent years, contributing to the common goal of protecting the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Fatherland, maintaining peace and happiness for the people.

The Vice President of the PPA affirmed, in the past years, the generations of military students being trained at the PPA always had a positive attitude in study and practice, actively overcame difficulties and challenges, strived to complete the task of the students, contribute to beautify the glorious tradition of the PPA. Many military students studying at the PPA matured and became the generals, high-ranking officers, held key positions at several agencies of the People's Army.

He hoped that the military students would promote the tradition of the previous generations, continue to study, cultivate the morals, get many achievements to be worthy of the title “Uncle Ho's soldier”.
