On the side of  PPA, the Lieutenant General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - President of PPA, members of the PPA’s Party Committee and Board of Directors; former leaders of the Academy through periods; representatives of functional units with the majority of offices, public employees, students in the academy.

 PPA is the institution has top qualified teachers in the Public Security including 11 professors, 42 associate professors, 182 doctors, 300 masters, 158 senior lecturers and 11 senior coaches. The Academy has trained over 4 thousand officers with graduate, undergraduate degrees for the Public Security Force and People’s Army Force, thousands of officers for sectors in the departments of the interior of the State, Laos and Cambodia countries .

The auditorium, dormitory, workplace system for teachers and staff are spacious, modern. In particular, the academy has successfully deployed the electronic PPA operating system, an advanced system firstly applied in the People’s Police school; all classrooms have been equipped with smart board system; Electronic library is connected to offices, classrooms for staffs, teachers and students. The international cooperation of the academy is constantly strengthened and expanded, thereby better meeting requirements of education and training.

 With the outstanding achievements in 2015 - 2016 academic year, PPA was given Emulation Flag for Outstanding Unit by the Ministry of Education and Training. In particular, on August 12th 2015, the Academy honored to be recognized as a key educational institution of the police; continuing the roadmap to become national key university in 2018.

At the meeting, the Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - President of PPA awarded the decision to appoint Assoc. Prof title for the Senior Lieutenant General, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Party Central Committee Commissioner, Vice Minister of Public Security.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh sent wishes for health, happiness and success to all teachers of the Academy. At the same time, he warmly praised the efforts, outstanding achievements staff, teachers, employees and students of PPA have achieved in recent years.

However, in order to confirm the growth and prestige of PPA in the people’s police school system, the Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh suggested, in the coming time, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Academy need to research and apply views and orientations of the party on radical and comprehensive innovation of education, training and development of human resource, especially the 12th Congress Resolution and the 8th National Congress Resolution, section 11; attach school with society, theory and practice, promote international cooperation and improving training quality to accomplish the goal of building the academy to become national key training institution in 2018, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of establishment of the Academy.

At the same time, the Vice Prime Minister stressed that PPA should especially focus on building teachers, managers of education and scientific research officers in sufficient quantity and quality in 4 aspects: professional ethics; professional qualification and pedagogical skill; scientific research skill and practical skill; they are teachers, staff who love their sector, their job and have firm political bravery, loyalty to the Party, State and people; Strengthening scientific research, practical summary, closely connecting theory with fighting practice to serve teaching and learning; building and improving the theory system of police science... Thereby, advising the leaders of the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security of strategies, policies for protection of national security, ensuring order and social safety, creating peaceful and convenient environment for socio-economic development to actively prevent and respond effectively in any situation.

outstanding achievements in education. 

The Academy should continue to actively strengthen cooperation with the police training institutions and police forces of countries in the region and around the world, thereby learning experiences and advanced knowledge as platform for construction and development of PPA to become a police training cooperation center in the Southeast Asia in the near future. At the same time, focusing on building a cultural and educational environment which is healthy, friendly, traditional, focusing on educating tradition, politics, professional motives, disciplines, contributing to forming good personality, communication culture, behavior and self-discipline of students.

In reply to the Vice Prime Minister, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem expressed profound gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister’s attention and close guidance in recent years. At the same time, he promised, with the motto of "tradition - consensus - innovation - dynamic - development", officers, teachers, employees and students of the whole Academy would always be united, initiative, creative, eager to successfully complete all outstanding tasks and build PPA to become a national key higher education institution as soon as possible .
