As forPPA were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen XuanYem, President of the Academy and representatives for functional units.

In 1992, PPA was the first training institution in the People's Public Security force was assigned postgraduate trainingby the Ministry of Education and Training. This is an important historic event, affirming prestige and trainingcapacity of the Academy as well as actively building strategy ofhigh-quality human resources training for the People's Public Security force in the new situation. In 2015, PPA was recognized by the Ministry of Public Security asthe key training institution of the People's Public Security force.  During 25 years, PPA has trained thousands of masters, hundreds of PH.D for the People's Public Security forces, People's Army, internal affair agencies and for Laos, Cambodia.

According to the summary report, over 25 years, the work of postgraduate training of PPA have followed closely and implemented effectively leadership, direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Ministry of Public Security, management of the Ministry of Education and Training. Training scale is expanded in majors, quantity andobjects of training. Content, curriculum of postgraduate training is innovated, updated in line with the development of science, practical work and ensuring connection with majors in university level. The thesis ofmaster, PhDhas contribute to adding, perfectingPublic Security science and theory, is anextremely precious material for training, scientific research, textbook compilation, contribute to the development of science - technology in the People's Public Security.

Facilities serving for postgraduate training of PPA are increasingly invested in more modern and synchronistic; staffs of faculty are constantly matured, being able to meet the requirements of teaching and guiding implementation of thesis of master, PhD, scientific research. PPA is increasingly confirmed as one of leadinginstitution of education, postgraduate and science research of the People's Public Security force, contributing to supplementing high quality human resources to meet fight against crime, serve the cause of socio-economic development in the period of industrialization - modernization and international integration.

From 1992 to now, PPA has enrolled 21 courses of postgraduate training; 25 master degree courses with a total of 697 postgraduate students and 3846 master students; in which 34 postgraduate students and 92 master students are international ones. Achievement in the work of postgraduate training of PPA during previous years confirms the right policy and strategic vision of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leadership of Ministry of Public Security, high determination of beforerequirement of staff training, building in the new situation.

Speaking at the Conference, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee, leaders of Ministry of Public Security, Lieutenant General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security recognized, praised the results of PPA in the work of postgraduate trainingover 25 years. He reiterated that Central Public Security Party Committee, leaders of Ministry of Public Security always determined education and training as key tasks and strategies to build the People's Public Security Forces regular, elite, gradual modern, meeting the requirements of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized that postgraduate training is the highest level in the national education system; result of this training system must actually be "intellectual products", not only to meet requirement of the society but also to master and creatively apply the objective rules to be aware and solve effectively the task of ensuring security and order in the new situation. Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh proposed in the near future, PPA should innovate strongly, deeply the workingfields, from that provide a comprehensive fundamental solution to improve the quality of postgraduate training. Building and developing the staffs oflecturersfor guiding the master and postgraduate students in line with the scale of training who achieve the standards of postgraduate lecturer on content, teaching methods, scientific bravery and professional qualifications; focus on enhancingofficers both political and ideological stabilization, professional expertise, master in law, knowledge of science and technology, foreign language and soft skills for performing state management, ensuring security and order.
