PPA is the first training facility in the police to be given postgraduate training duty since 1992. To date, the academy has nearly 25 years of building, developing high quality human resources for the police, army, internal affairs and the police forces of Laos and Cambodia. PPA postgraduate training has confirmed its important position, become an important part in training activities of PPA, well recognized and highly appreciated by the Leadership of the General Political Department of People’s Police, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Education and Training.

Major General, Assoc.Prof. Dr Do Ngoc Can - Deputy General Director of the General Political Department of People's Public Security congratulated postgraduate training results of PPA in recent years. He emphasized: While the People's Police Academy was striving to become a national key higher education institution, the quality improvement of postgraduate education in general and doctor training in particular was the most important task. The training must be constantly renewed in content, methods towards strengthening initiative and serious investment of PhD students, strengthening academic activities, encouraging research of new issues, new solutions depending on capabilities and strengths of each graduate student. Major General Do Ngoc Can specifically asked the Academy to strengthen coherence between postgraduate training and scientific research, aimed at solving urgent issues of practical fights against crime, ensuring security and order in the current situation.

On this occasion, the Major General, Assoc.Prof. Dr Do Ngoc Can - Deputy General Director of the General Political Department of the People's Public Security attended the ribbon cutting ceremony of the stone monument carving Uncle Ho’s six teachings to the People's Public Security. This showed heart, respect of new doctors receiving degree in 2016 to the PPA and wished that Uncle Ho’s six teachings to the people’s police would be always followed by the PPA students to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
