From October 10th to 16th, 2018, the PPA’s delegation led by Senior Colonel, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dac Hoan - Vice President of the Academy attended the 70th anniversary of the People’s Public Security University of China (PPSUC), participated in the Police Science Forum hosted by PPSUC and had a bilateral working session with the PPSUC’s leader.

The Ministry of Public Security on October 24 held a grand ceremony to open the 2018 Public Security Sport Tournament at the Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Sport Center.

On October 11th 2018, the PPA solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of school year 2018 - 2019. Senior Lieutenant General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Nam, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vice Minister of Public Security presided the Ceremony and congratulated the Academy.

Under the permission of the Minister of Public Security, within the framework of the Association of Police Training Institute in Asia (APTA) in 2018, the PPA’s delegation led by Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Chat - Vice President of the Academy attended the 3rd Conference held at the Royal Police Cadet Academy in Thailand from 17th - 20th September, 2018.

From 17th - 22nd September, 2018, the delegation of Ministry of Public Security led by Senior Colonel Pham Cong Nguyen - Vice President of the People’s Police Academy participated in the 3rd China-ASEAN Police Academic Forum in Nanning City, Guangxi Province, China.

On August 28th, 2018, the delegation of Zhejiang Police College, China led by Mr. Jiang Zhen Ming - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the College had a working visit to the People’s Police Academy. On August 14th, 2018, with the approval of the Ministry of Public Security, the PPA hold a meeting to exchange experience on training and scientific research with the delegation of Indonesian Traffic Police led by Brigadier General Halim Pagarra - Director of Registration and Identification.

On August 16th, 2018, at the Embassy of Laos in Vietnam, Senior Colonel, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dac Hoan - Vice President of the PPA, on behalf of the Academy’s officers, lecturers and students, presented VND 50,000,000 to the representative of the Embassy of Laos in Vietnam for supporting the peoples who were affected by the collapse of the Sepien - Senamnoi hydropower dam.
