In June 2015, the delegation of the PPA consisted of 10 members, led by Major General, Prof. Dr Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of PPA, participated in Mission 15 to visit Truong Sa and DK1. The trip has left many deep feelings in each member, especially fierce patriotism, national pride and determination to dedicate to the cause of construction and defense of the country.

On December 21th, 2017, the PPA held an event to honor and meet students with high achievements in competitions such as international informatics and programming Olympiad, English Olympiad for non - major English students: Olympiad of Marxist - Leninist and Ho Chi Minh Thought related subjects and the scientific research competition held by the Ministry of Education and training.

On the 15th and 16th of December, on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the establishment of the People's Army of Viet Nam, the 45th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory in the air, the 50th anniversary of the establishment of PPA, the Trade Union Congress "Back to the source" in Con Dao, Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

On December 1st , 2017 the Board of Directorates and officers, teachers and students of the PPA led by Major General, Assoc. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (07/11/1917 - 07/11/2017), on November 3rd, 2017, the liaison committee of Vietnamese Police Alumni studied in the Soviet Union and Russian Federation, in cooperation with PPA, organized a meeting "The friendship between Vietnam - Russia”.

On September 26th, 2017, the PPA held solemnly the Opening Ceremony of the academic year 2017 - 2018. Attending the Ceremony were H.E. Senior Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. To Lam - Member of Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security; Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Nam, Deputy General Director of General Department of Politics; representatives of the General Departments, Departments and Institutions of the Ministry of Public Security; elder teachers and distinguished domestic and international guests.
