On August 28th, 2018, the delegation of Zhejiang Police College, China led by Mr. Jiang Zhen Ming - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the College had a working visit to the People’s Police Academy. Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang - Vice President of the PPA hosted the meeting together with functional divisions of the PPA.

On August 14th, 2018, with the approval of the Ministry of Public Security, the PPA hold a meeting to exchange experience on training and scientific research with the delegation of Indonesian Traffic Police led by Brigadier General Halim Pagarra - Director of Registration and Identification.

On August 16th, 2018, at the Embassy of Laos in Vietnam, Senior Colonel, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dac Hoan - Vice President of the PPA, on behalf of the Academy’s officers, lecturers and students, presented VND 50,000,000 to the representative of the Embassy of Laos in Vietnam for supporting the peoples who were affected by the collapse of the Sepien - Senamnoi hydropower dam.

On August 10th, 2018, the PPA held the closing ceremony of the training course on transnational crimes prevention for officers of the Interior Ministry of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The three-month training course is one of the components under the annual cooperation plan between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Cambodian Ministry of Interior.

Within framework of the PPA’s international cooperation program in 2018, on August 3rd, 2018, the President of PPA had a meeting with Mr. Olivier Lefebvre, French Security Attaché in Vietnam to discuss about the promotion of the cooperation between the Academy and the French counterparts.

On July 31st, 2018, the PPA and the University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS) - Vietnam National University, Hanoi jointly hold the opening ceremony of the Second Bachelor's Degrees in English language course for 75 PPA officers and lecturers.

In marking the War Invalids - Martyrs’ Day (July 27th), the PPA held meaningful activities paying gratitude to heroes, fallen soldiers, people with meritorious services to the country’s revolution.

On July 23th, 2018, the PPA solemnly held the Closing Ceremony, presenting the Degrees to 310 students of criminal justice specialty, school year 2014 - 2018.

On July 17th, 2018, the PPA held the closing ceremony of basic Korean language course for Hanoi police force. This is part of the collaborative activities between the PPA and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The course was taught by KOICA experts from May 21st to July 17th, 2018. Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA presided at the event.

On June 19, 2018 under the approval of the Ministry of Public Security, the People’s Police Academy held a meeting with the delegation from University of Maryland, USA led by Mr. Gregory Ball, Dean of University of Maryland’s College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSOS). Maj.Gen.Assoc.Prof.Dr Tran Minh Chat, Vice-President of the PPA chaired the meeting with the attendance of representatives of International Cooperation Department and Training and Education Management Department.

On June 11th, 2018, the PPA organized the launching ceremony to start the summer volunteer program in 2018. Attending the ceremony were representatives of Department of Political Affairs, Executive Board of PPA Youth Union and all officers and students participating in volunteer program in summer 2018.

On June 7th, 2018, the PPA held summarizing ceremony of sports and physical activities in school year 2017 - 2018. Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA attended and chaired the event.

On June 6th, 2018, the PPA held a meeting and presented the Certificates of Merit to two Korean experts for their active contributions to education and training of the PPA.

On June 1st, 2018, the PPA has successfully organized the exchange program between the educational management units and the PPA's lecturers on education and training in the academic year 2017 - 2018.
