On April 21st, 2018, at the People's Police Academy (PPA), the Competition “Youth of People Public Security force study, perform Six things taught by Uncle Ho” in No. 14 competitive group which includes the police training institutions in the North was successful and exciting.

As part of the cooperation program between the General Department of Police - Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Australian Federal Police (AFP), on April 16th 2018, the PPA together with representatives of the Asian Regional Law Enforcement Management Program (ARLEMP), organized an international scientific seminar on "Prevention of Human Trafficking and Illegal Immigration".

On April 18th 2018, in Hanoi, the PPA signed a memorandum of cooperation with Hong Ha Stationery Joint Stock Company and exchanged with the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum.

The seminar was organized to clarify the basic requirements, the role of the communication work of People's Police force in the criminal prevention and suppresion as well as the difficulties and shortcomings of this work.

On April 16th, 2018, the PPA held the opening ceremony of the Best Lecturer Contest in school year 2017 - 2018. Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA attended and chaired the ceremony.

In implementation of the Decision No. 700/QD-BCA-V12 dated February 26th, 2018 of the Minister of Public Security to delegate 5 members to Qatar, includingVice President of the People's Police Academy (Head of the delegation), Vice President of the People's Security Academy and three staff of the two academies to attend the seventh Annual Conference of the International Police Academy Association (INTERPA) from April 1 to April 6, 1818 in Doha, Qatar.

On April 9th 2018, The PPA and Anti drug Crime Police Faculty held a talk on legal regulations on drugs and the harmful effects of drugs with 1,700 students and teachers of Nguyen Truong To Secondary School.

On April 8th 2018, students and teachers who are major in French from the People's Police Academy attended the "Festival des chansons francais 2018" (Festival of French songs 2018) at the French Cultural Center.

On April 6th 2018, the Economic Police Department in collaboration with Center for Research and Development of Police Theory of PPA organized a scientific workshop: “Struggle against the crime of infringing upon intellectual property”. Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr Tran Minh Chat, Vice President of the PPA, chaired the workshop.

On April, 5th 2018, the PPA organized a ceremony to announce and award the decision for appointment of Professor and Associate Professor of Security Science in 2017.

During the past 5 years, deploying Directive No.5 of the Minister of Public Security on promoting the movement "Public Security Forces implementing Uncle Ho's 6 teachings", the PPA implemented many action plans and achieved outstanding outcomes.

On April 2nd 2018, the People’s Police Academy organized a meeting with the delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Hanoi led by Mr. Lee Chul - Minister Counselor. Maj. Gen. Tran Minh Chat - Vice President of PPA chaired the meeting, there were also the presences of representatives of Department of International Cooperation, Administration Office of the Academy and Centre for Achieves and Library.

On March 27th 2018, the People’s Police Academy organized a scientific conference “The Quality Assurance and Training Testing at the People's Police Academy towards the goal of becoming a focal institution of higher education, achieving the nation’s standard”. Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang - Vice President of the Academy chaired the conference.

With the agreement of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, implementing the annual international cooperation program, the People’s Police Academy organized a training course entitled "Improving the effectiveness of crime prevention and fighting" for 15 officers and students of Royal Police Cadet Academy of Thailand, and 03 students from Korean National Police University from March 19th to 30th, 2018.
